Does ABC connect the episode to Jenna Elfman?
No. ABC’s episode synopsis does not mention Jenna Elfman, an explanation from her, or an off-screen feud with Tim Allen. ABC’s series information describes Allen as Matt, a widowed classic-car restoration shop owner, and Kat Dennings as Riley, his estranged daughter. Elfman is not among the principal cast listed on that page. That cast listing alone cannot establish whether she appeared in any other capacity, but the official materials reviewed do not establish her involvement in “Picnic.”
Why is the feud claim circulating?
A December 30, 2025 Laptop251 article bearing a similar claim alleges a real actor feud and attributes remarks to Elfman. Those claims and purported quotations were not corroborated by the official sources reviewed, and the article’s characterization conflicts with ABC’s account of the episode. They should therefore be treated as unverified, not as evidence of what happened on screen or between the actors.
