Update: The 2024 Wimbledon men’s singles final is no longer live. Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic played on Sunday, July 14, 2024. In the United States, the live broadcast was on ESPN, with authenticated streaming through Watch ESPN or the ESPN app. In the United Kingdom, coverage was available through BBC One, BBC Two, BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport. The most reliable option available now is the official Wimbledon extended-highlights video.

How U.S. viewers streamed it

A standalone ESPN+ subscription should not automatically be treated as access to the main ESPN channel. Common ESPN access problems
- “You are not authorized”: Recheck that the package includes ESPN, then sign out and authenticate again through the provider.
- The event is missing: Search ESPN’s Wimbledon hub and live schedule. The listing may be organized under ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Deportes or a language-specific feed.
- Location or blackout message: Confirm that the account and location are eligible. A VPN is not a guaranteed or necessarily permitted solution.
- Buffering: Restart the app, reduce video quality and use a stronger Wi-Fi or wired connection.
- Wrong language or no audio: Check the player’s audio controls and select the intended event feed.
How U.K. viewers watched it
BBC coverage was available on BBC One and BBC Two, with online access through BBC iPlayer, the BBC Sport Wimbledon page and the BBC Sport app. The BBC’s coverage included live streams and court coverage alongside scores, order-of-play information and commentary.

BBC iPlayer is a U.K.-focused service with normal BBC account, territory and licensing requirements. Do not assume that a U.K. stream is available internationally, and do not treat a VPN as a guaranteed lawful workaround. BBC schedules could also change during the tournament.
Was there a free official stream?
For eligible U.K. viewers, BBC’s public-service coverage was the relevant free-to-air route, subject to applicable BBC access and licensing requirements. In the U.S., there was no basis to promise a free full English-language stream on Wimbledon.com or YouTube. The official Wimbledon YouTube video currently identified for this match is an extended highlights package, not the complete live broadcast.

Start with the official Wimbledon extended highlights on the verified Wimbledon YouTube channel. This is the clearest currently documented way to revisit the match legally, but it is not a full-match replay.
