How to look for the 2025 final now
- UK viewers: Search BBC Sport and BBC iPlayer for the 2025 World Championship final, a highlights programme, or an archive page. The replay may no longer be available, and any remaining access can depend on location, account requirements, licensing, and the BBC’s archive window.
- Viewers outside the UK: Check the official WST PLAY streaming platform for an on-demand listing of the final. WST PLAY is the World Snooker Tour’s official video and streaming service, but its catalogue and access rules vary by country because of existing broadcaster agreements.
- Check the specific event listing: Look for wording such as “replay,” “on demand,” or “archive.” Do not assume that a live-event page means the completed 2025 final is included, or that access is free.
WST PLAY may provide live events, seasonal matches, and on-demand content, and WST says some territories may receive catch-up coverage after a delay. However, the availability of this particular final, its price, and the length of any archive window must be checked in your country at the time you visit.
Is there a free legal stream?
“Free” can mean several different things, and they are not interchangeable:
| Type of access | What it means |
|---|---|
| Free-to-air live coverage | The programme was available without a separate streaming subscription during the original broadcast, subject to the broadcaster’s normal rules and territory. |
| Official highlights | A broadcaster or tournament organiser may publish selected clips or a highlights package without charging, but this is not necessarily the complete final. |
| Official replay | A full match may require an account, a licence-covered location, or another access condition. Availability can expire. |
| Paid archive or streaming access | A legitimate platform may place the match behind a subscription or other charge. |
The BBC announced a five-year extension in January 2025 covering the World Championship, UK Championship, and Masters through 2032, and described the Triple Crown arrangement as free-to-air in the relevant market. That does not guarantee that every past final remains free to replay, that BBC services work outside the UK, or that a VPN can lawfully circumvent territorial restrictions.

Availability by region
United Kingdom
The BBC was the original UK broadcaster. Start with BBC Sport and BBC iPlayer and search for the final or related highlights. If no result appears, the replay may have left the available archive or may not be licensed for on-demand viewing.

Do not assume that BBC iPlayer is available in the United States. Check WST PLAY and any current US rights-holder listed by the tournament or platform. The official WST service is the safest starting point for checking whether an on-demand replay is offered in your location.
Other countries
Check the local rights-holder first, then WST PLAY. Broadcast agreements differ by territory, so a service that carries the final in one country may not carry it in another. Do not rely on a generic “watch free” page unless it identifies an authorised broadcaster and a genuine event listing.

Avoid unofficial “free stream” pages
Unauthorised restreams commonly involve misleading pop-ups, aggressive redirects, malware, fake player buttons, or requests for payment details. They can also disappear during the match and do not provide a reliable or lawful way to watch.
Use official broadcaster or tournament services only. Do not recommend piracy, do not share unauthorised restream links, and do not use a VPN or similar method to evade a broadcaster’s geographic licensing controls. A VPN may also breach a service’s terms even where the underlying content is otherwise legitimate.
If an official stream or replay will not play
First determine whether the problem is the event listing, your account or territory, the browser, your network, or the local device. Work through these checks:
