That does not mean BBC iPlayer still carries the complete match. There is an important difference between:
- the live BBC broadcast available on June 23, 2024;
- highlights or short clips that may remain online; and
- a full-match replay, which must be confirmed on the current official page.

International viewing options
Euro 2024 rights were territory-specific. There was no single legal stream available worldwide. UEFA’s historical broadcast-partner directory listed the rights holders by country, including BBC and ITV in the UK, FOX Sports USA in the United States and MTVA in Hungary.
Select your country in UEFA’s directory, then check the broadcaster’s own archive and video pages. The directory explains who held the Euro 2024 rights; it does not guarantee that a full 2024 replay remains hosted in 2026.
Can you watch the full match now?
Possibly, but it must be verified on the specific official player or archive page. Historical live-stream information is not evidence that a full replay is still available.

Free viewing: what is legitimate?

What about using a VPN?
A VPN does not create broadcasting rights. Using one to access a foreign service may conflict with that service’s terms, local law or territorial licensing restrictions. Services such as BBC iPlayer can also impose account, location and eligibility requirements.
For that reason, a VPN should not be presented as a guaranteed way to watch this match for free. The safer approach is to use the official broadcaster or video service available in your location.
