- Open Formula 1: Drive to Survive on Netflix, or use the Netflix app’s search.
- Sign in to Netflix, or join using the plans and payment options offered in your current country. Prices, plans, payment methods, and feature availability vary by market, so Netflix’s local sign-up flow is the reliable source for them.
- Use the season selector and choose Season 7.
- Start with Episode 1, Business As Usual.
Netflix’s current series page lists eight seasons, so be careful not to select the newer Season 8 by mistake. Season 7 is the 2024-season instalment released ahead of the 2025 F1 campaign.
Can you watch it “from anywhere”?
You can use Netflix while travelling on a phone, tablet, computer, or after signing in on a hotel or holiday-rental TV. But “from anywhere” does not mean that every country has the same catalogue. Netflix says availability can vary by country, along with audio and subtitle choices, maturity ratings, download availability, and some account-list items.

So the accurate answer is: Season 7 can be watched while you travel from countries where Netflix currently carries the title. If it does not appear in the local catalogue, or Netflix says it is unavailable in your area, that is a regional-rights limitation. Check the local catalogue again later rather than relying on an unverified workaround.
Do not rely on a VPN for access
A VPN is not a dependable way to restore a home-country Netflix catalogue. Netflix says that when it detects a VPN, it may show only titles with worldwide licensing; turning the VPN off may be necessary to view titles licensed for the country where you actually are. It is therefore best to connect normally and use the catalogue available in your location.

Download episodes before a trip
The Netflix title page currently marks the series as available to download. Downloads are useful for flights and unreliable connections, but they are offline viewing inside the Netflix app—not video files you can move to another device.
- Use the current Netflix app on a supported device. Netflix identifies Android phones and tablets, iPhone and iPad, Amazon Fire tablets, and compatible Chromebooks as download-capable categories.
- Download each episode on the device on which you intend to watch it.
- Allow time to finish the downloads before leaving Wi-Fi or mobile data coverage.
- Expect expiry limits: Netflix downloads can expire.
- Do not assume a download made before departure will remain playable after crossing a border. Netflix warns that existing downloads can become unavailable after moving to another country.
What Formula 1: Drive to Survive Season 7 covers
Season 7 goes behind the scenes of the pivotal 2024 F1 campaign: team revivals, tense driver-market decisions, off-track controversy, and mid-season management upheaval. It is a retrospective documentary series, not live race coverage.

If Season 7 is missing
First, search the complete title rather than only “Drive to Survive,” then check the season menu. If Season 7 is still absent, use Netflix without a VPN and confirm that the app is updated. If Netflix continues to report an availability problem, it is most likely a current licensing limitation in that location. There is no legitimate universal workaround to promise; return to the local Netflix catalogue later to see whether rights availability has changed.
