Season 33 voting is closed. Dancing With the Stars Season 33 premiered on September 17, 2024, and ended with its finale on November 26, 2024. This is a historical guide to how viewers voted during that season—not an active voting page. The Season 33 contestants, text keywords, and voting portal should not be used for a current season or special event unless ABC officially announces that voting has reopened.
How Season 33 viewers voted
During the active Season 33 voting window, eligible viewers had two options:
- Online: Vote through the official
dwtsvote.abc.comvoting page after creating or signing in to an account. - By text message: Send a contestant’s Season 33 keyword to 21523.
Voting was available only during the initial live broadcast window. It closed shortly after the episode’s final competitive dance and was not available during later broadcasts or on-demand streaming.
Important: Season 33 voting is no longer available
The Season 33 finale aired on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson won the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. Because the season has ended, viewers cannot submit new Season 33 votes in 2026, and the Season 33 text keywords listed below are historical information only.

Do not assume that watching a later replay on Disney+ or another on-demand service opens a voting window. For Season 33, voting was tied to the designated live simulcast rather than to later streaming access.
How online voting worked during Season 33
When voting was open, online viewers followed these steps:
- Open the official Season 33 voting page at
dwtsvote.abc.comduring the eligible live voting window. - Create an account or sign in to an existing account.
- Complete the one-time email verification if prompted.
- Select one or more couples.
- Assign votes to the selected couples, up to the permitted limit for each couple.
- Review the selections and click Save Votes to submit them.
Online votes could be redistributed or changed before submission. A selection was not complete merely because votes had been entered on the page; viewers needed to use the Save Votes control.
How text voting worked during Season 33
Eligible U.S. viewers could text a contestant’s keyword to 21523. For example, sending JOEY to 21523 counted as a vote for Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson, provided the text was sent during the active voting window and the viewer met the applicable requirements.

Each successful text counted as one vote within the applicable limit. Text votes could not be edited or redistributed after they were sent. Message and data rates could apply, depending on the viewer’s wireless plan.
Season 33 vote limits
Viewers could support more than one couple. The limit was:

That meant an eligible viewer could cast up to 20 votes per couple per voting window: 10 online votes and 10 text votes. The two methods had separate limits.
Each eligible household member could vote through their own account, subject to the official eligibility rules. Creating duplicate accounts or otherwise attempting to bypass the rules was not a valid way to increase votes.

Who was eligible to vote?
- Age: Online voters had to be at least 18 years old.
- Online geography: Online voting was available to eligible viewers physically located in the United States, U.S. territories, or Canada.
- Text geography: SMS voting was limited to viewers in the United States and U.S. territories using a participating wireless carrier.
- Canadian viewers: Eligible Canadian viewers could vote online but could not vote by text.
Where a person watched the program and where that person was physically located were separate issues. The live broadcast schedule determined when voting was open, while online eligibility included qualifying viewers in Canada and in U.S. time zones beyond the initial Eastern and Central broadcast region.
When was Season 33 voting open?
Voting took place during the initial live simulcast on ABC and Disney+. It closed shortly after the final competitive dance in that episode. The voting window was not carried over to a later airing, a replay, or an on-demand stream.
For the finale, the live broadcast ran on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, from 8:00–11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific and 7:00–10:00 p.m. Central. Live viewer voting was available during that finale broadcast. The finale’s five finalist couples performed a redemption dance and a freestyle before the result was announced.

To send a historical Season 33 text vote, the format was the contestant keyword sent to 21523. That process no longer produces a valid Season 33 vote now that the season is over.
Who won Season 33?
Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson won Season 33. The finale generated more than 32 million votes for the teams, according to ABC’s finale result coverage. The result followed the finalists’ redemption dances, freestyles, and live viewer voting during the November 26 broadcast.
What to do if you want to vote on a current season
Season-specific voting rules can change, including the voting URL, contestant keywords, eligibility requirements, limits, and closing time. For a current season or special event:
- Use voting instructions announced by ABC or the official Dancing With the Stars channels for that event.
- Check the exact season and episode before entering a contestant keyword.
- Confirm whether voting is open during the live broadcast in your location.
- Do not rely on Season 33 keywords or assume that an on-demand stream includes voting.
- Read the official terms for age, geography, account verification, carrier restrictions, and vote limits.
