You can keep a prerecorded meditation program live on YouTube around the clock by sending a continuous feed from a local encoder or a cloud service. Track labels need a separate log: YouTube chapters are added to a video description, and a 24/7 broadcast may be too long for YouTube to archive as one replay. Plan the rights, stream, tracklist and replay as distinct parts of the setup.
Before you stream: clear every piece of content
Make an inventory of everything viewers will hear or see: meditation recordings, music, spoken passages, ambience, visuals, artwork and transitions. Confirm that your permission covers YouTube livestreaming, repeated or continuous use, relevant territories, monetization if applicable, and archived playback. Keep the licenses or permissions with your running order.
YouTube requires streamers to hold the necessary rights for live content, including music licensing rights. Its live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content; a licensed track can still interrupt a broadcast if the rights holder has not allowlisted your channel. A license does not automatically guarantee that Content ID will leave a live stream uninterrupted. See YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions and guidance on copyright issues with live streams.
Check rights track by track rather than assuming that a meditation, public-domain composition, or purchased recording is automatically cleared for a continuous YouTube stream. YouTube’s documentation cannot determine the rights status of a particular recording.

Choose how to keep the live feed running
A playlist of published YouTube videos is not itself a continuous live event. To create one, a streaming encoder or hosted service must send a live feed to YouTube. Choose based on who should be responsible for keeping that feed available.

Local encoder: prepare a continuous source
Set up a media source or playlist in your encoder so it can play the program continuously, including the transition from the final item back to the first. YouTube’s HLS documentation lists OBS as an encoder that supports HLS output. HLS requires an HLS-capable encoder and a YouTube HLS stream key; its segmented delivery has higher latency than RTMP. The HLS guide’s segment settings apply to HLS and are not a blanket recommendation that HLS is best for every meditation stream. Follow the ingest method supported by your encoder and YouTube configuration. See YouTube’s guide to HLS ingestion.
Keep the computer and encoder running, prevent the computer from sleeping, and monitor the connection and output. A local setup gives you control, but it also makes the computer, encoder and network part of the broadcast path.

Hosted streaming: check the actual limits
A hosted service can send stored or uploaded media without relying on your local computer to transmit the feed. Check supported platforms, maximum duration, media handling, plan requirements and current pricing before committing. For example, OneStream Live’s cited 24/7 workflow is YouTube-only, Enterprise-plan-only and limited to 30 days; those conditions may change.
Build a track-label log as you assemble the program
Record the elapsed start time and the exact viewer-facing label for every track or segment. Use the time at which each item actually begins in the stream, not the time you uploaded or queued it.

Publish the current or complete tracklist in the stream description or another clearly identified viewer-facing place. If your workflow allows description updates during the live event, update them carefully; otherwise, publish the planned list and correct it for the replay.
This log is editorial metadata, not an automated YouTube live-track-label feature. The YouTube documentation establishes description-based chapters for videos, not an automatic chapter system for a live feed.

Add YouTube chapters to the replay
Chapters are a feature of a video. Once you have a replay that is available in YouTube Studio, use the track log to add accurate timestamp-and-title entries to its description. YouTube’s instructions require the first timestamp to be 00:00, at least three timestamps in ascending order, and each chapter to be at least 10 seconds long. Manual chapters override automatic chapters. Access to advanced features can affect availability, and not every video qualifies for automatic chapters. See YouTube’s video-chapter instructions.
- Open YouTube Studio and select the replay video.
- Edit the description and add a timestamp followed by the chapter title for each section, starting with
00:00. - Check that there are at least three timestamps, that they ascend, and that every chapter lasts at least 10 seconds.
- Save the description, then review the replay to confirm that the timestamps point to the intended tracks.
Do not promise a complete chaptered replay from a single 24/7 event. YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, recommends making a local recording as a backup, and warns that a stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. For a dependable navigable replay, record locally or publish shorter live blocks and make a separate on-demand version. See YouTube’s archive-live-stream guidance.
Test the setup before making it public
Run an unlisted or otherwise controlled broadcast first. Check the stream status, sound level, playback order, transitions, visual continuity, track labels and public-facing description. Confirm that you can stop and restart the feed if something goes wrong, and test any local recording you intend to use as an archive backup. This is a practical check, not a guarantee of uninterrupted streaming.
