Open the stream’s YouTube watch page. If you’re watching an embedded player on another site, switch to YouTube: Live Chat is available on watch pages, not embedded players. YouTube Help: Use Live Chat

Open or expand Live Chat, if it isn’t already visible.

Look for the colored, highlighted Super Chat message. Its purchase amount is attached to the message and is public, according to YouTube’s Super Chat and Super Sticker purchase guide.

Live Chat isn’t available: chat may not be enabled for that stream. Check whether the stream’s chat is open.

You’re looking at a replay: the channel may not have posted a replay, or chat replay may not be enabled. YouTube documents that chat replay can show Super Chat replies when enabled, but does not guarantee that every purchase amount appears in every replay.

Check Super Chat purchases as the channel creator
On a computer, sign in to YouTube Studio and open Earn → Supers. Review the “Your Super Chat and Super Sticker activity” card, or select See all. YouTube says this activity view lets creators see purchases from the past 30 days. See YouTube Help: Review your Super Chat and Super Sticker activity.
Super Chat versus Super Sticker
A Super Chat highlights a viewer’s message. A Super Sticker is a digital or animated image that appears in chat. Both are paid features, but only a Super Chat is a message with its purchase amount attached. YouTube explains the distinction in its Super Chat and Super Stickers overview.
