How the song fits the album
“Younger And Hotter Than Me” is a track on I Said I Love You First, Gomez and blanco’s collaborative album, which Universal Music Canada said was released March 21, 2025. Apple Music lists the track on the album and credits Selena Gomez, Benjamin Levin (benny blanco), and Finneas Baird O’Connell as songwriters. It credits blanco and FINNEAS as producers; the page does not specify how the songwriting was divided. Apple Music’s song listing contains the track and contributor credits.
The narrator’s point of view
The lyrics frame a narrator looking back on a changed relationship: she recalls waiting outside a former partner’s apartment, measures herself against younger women at a party, and wonders whether a new romantic interest is “younger and hotter than me.” That perspective makes the song a portrayal of insecurity and comparison, not proof of a specific event in either artist’s life or of their intentions. The video description includes the lyrics.
