What IRL Pro can—and cannot—be confirmed to do
IRL Pro is listed as an Android streaming app. Its setup documentation covers selecting a protocol and entering a publish URL or stream key to broadcast to a configured destination. A third-party setup guide describes connecting IRL Pro to YouTube using the stream URL and key from YouTube Studio.
Those instructions establish a way to publish a stream; they do not establish that IRL Pro can play a Hindi playlist from a music app, local files, or an online source, keep that playback running unattended, or recover playlist playback after interruptions. The Google Play listing shows an update date of September 18, 2024, but that date does not verify the current app’s playlist-source capabilities. Check the current release and test the complete audio path before planning an always-on stream.
Check music rights before you configure the stream
A song being available to play on your phone, or having a licence to use it, does not by itself establish that you can broadcast it on YouTube. Confirm that the rights cover YouTube live streaming and, if you plan to keep a replay, archiving the stream. This applies to Hindi songs, devotional music, film tracks, and other recordings alike.

YouTube says it scans live streams for third-party content, including copyrighted music. A stream can be interrupted or terminated if copyrighted content remains. YouTube also warns that a licence alone may not prevent a live interruption: when required, the rights owner must add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. YouTube’s guidance is explicit: “If you’ve licensed third-party content to use in your stream, ask the owner of the content to add your channel to their allowlist through Content ID.” See YouTube Help: Copyright issues with live streams.
If you choose to archive the live stream, YouTube says Content ID claims on archived live streams are made after the stream completes. Check the applicable rights for both the live broadcast and the resulting replay; do not assume that permission for one includes the other. See YouTube Help on live-stream copyright.

Set up the YouTube connection in IRL Pro
The connection steps below cover sending a stream to YouTube; they do not configure or prove playlist playback. Labels can vary by app version, so follow IRL Pro’s current setup screens and documentation.
- Prepare a YouTube live destination. In YouTube Studio, create or open the live stream you intend to use and retrieve its stream URL and stream key. Keep the key private; anyone who obtains it may be able to broadcast to that destination. The URL-and-key procedure described here comes from a third-party IRL Pro guide, not from YouTube’s official instructions.
- Open IRL Pro on an Android device. In the app’s broadcast setup, choose the protocol required by the destination and enter the publish URL or stream key in the appropriate fields. Use the current IRL Pro documentation for the field names and supported protocol.
- Configure the audio source separately. Before going live, determine whether the current app can take audio from the specific playlist source you intend to use and whether playback continues when the phone is unattended or its screen is off. The setup documentation cited here does not describe this workflow, so do not assume an ordinary music-player app will feed IRL Pro correctly.
- Run a private or otherwise low-risk test. Confirm in YouTube’s live preview that the stream connects and that the intended audio is actually audible. Test the expected playback duration, interruptions, and the phone’s behavior under your planned conditions before announcing an always-on broadcast.
- Go live only after the rights and playback checks pass. Monitor the initial broadcast for YouTube copyright notices and confirm that any required Content ID allowlisting is in place with the rights owner.
What to test before calling it always-on
- Playlist input: Verify that the exact local or online source can be routed into IRL Pro. A YouTube connection alone does not prove that playlist audio is available to the encoder.
- Continuous playback: Confirm that tracks advance and audio continues for the intended duration, including under the phone’s expected screen and power settings.
- Recovery: Test what happens if the connection or YouTube stream drops. The sources cited here do not establish IRL Pro’s unattended recovery behavior.
- Rights and replay: Keep records of permissions for live use and archiving, and obtain Content ID allowlisting where the rights owner requires it.
- Device planning: The documented app workflow requires an Android phone. No specific phone model, power accessory, or compatibility combination is validated by the sources cited here.
When a separate streaming method may be needed
If IRL Pro cannot take the playlist audio you need, or cannot keep it playing reliably, do not treat the YouTube stream-key setup as a workaround: it only addresses publishing to the destination. Consider a separate encoder or relay workflow only after verifying that it can supply continuous playlist audio and meet your unattended-reliability needs. Whichever method you use, the music rights and Content ID requirements remain the same.
