To run Bengali kirtan on YouTube around the clock, first clear the rights for every composition and recording, enable live streaming in advance, and build a tested encoder workflow with someone responsible for monitoring and recovery. An encoder can send a continuous feed, but YouTube’s documentation does not promise that a single broadcast will run forever or remain uninterrupted.
1. Enable YouTube live streaming early
If this is the channel’s first live stream, verify the account and enable live streaming at least 24 hours before going live. YouTube for Artists gives that lead time for first-time live streaming. Check the channel for live-streaming restrictions before scheduling the launch. See YouTube for Artists.
2. Clear rights for every track and use
“Bengali kirtan” describes a devotional tradition, not the rights status of a particular recording. A traditional composition may have a modern arrangement, a protected recording, or a performance with separate rights. Identify what you plan to play and obtain permission for the actual uses.
Make a track-level rights ledger
For each recording, keep a record of:
- Composition and version or arrangement.
- Recording owner and performers.
- Who granted permission, and documentation of that permission.
- Territories, continuous livestream use, and any limits on the permission period.
- Whether the stream may remain available as an archive and whether monetization is permitted.
- Who controls any Content ID reference and how a mistaken match will be resolved.
Ask the relevant rights holder, label, or distributor about Content ID management and channel allowlisting. YouTube recommends coordinating with a label or distributor when using protected music. Its copyright guidance for live streams says licensed third-party music can still cause an interruption if the channel is not on the rights owner’s allowlist. A vendor-published StreamNeo devotional-channel guide also suggests confirming continuous use, territories, monetization, permission duration, and Content ID arrangements; treat it as a practical checklist, not a legal conclusion for every jurisdiction.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
3. Set up the broadcast and encoder
An encoder sends the live feed to YouTube; it gives more control and customization than a simple mobile or webcam stream. YouTube’s Live Streaming API distinguishes the incoming feed, called a liveStream, from the viewer-facing event, called a liveBroadcast. Its recurring-event pattern can associate one stream resource with multiple broadcasts, but that does not establish that one broadcast can run indefinitely. Read YouTube’s Live Streaming API documentation.
- Create the event and feed. Use YouTube Studio or the relevant API workflow to create the broadcast and stream resources, then bind them as appropriate for your workflow.
- Configure the encoder. Enter the channel’s current ingestion settings and stream key in the encoder. Treat the key as a credential: restrict access to trusted operators and replace it if it is exposed.
- Choose a setup to match the programme. Select the encoder and audio chain for your visual format, sound requirements, operator skills, and reliability needs. The cited YouTube guidance does not endorse a particular hardware encoder or computer/software combination for Bengali kirtan.
- Use protocol specifications only if they apply. YouTube’s HLS ingestion requirements and DASH delivery requirements are technical specifications for supported ingestion workflows, not a general equipment shopping list.
4. Test the whole chain and plan recovery
Before announcing the stream, run a private or otherwise appropriate test using representative kirtan, visuals, audio levels, network conditions, and a meaningful duration. Watch YouTube Studio and the encoder for stream-health warnings. Confirm who will respond if the feed stops and how they will restart the encoder or broadcast. If your setup supports it, prepare a rights-cleared fallback playlist or holding visual.

Consider power and internet failures, encoder crashes, operator availability, and the time needed to restore the feed. These are continuity questions to plan and test; the available platform documentation does not validate a particular 24/7 uptime design or establish a universal maximum broadcast duration.
5. Respond to copyright matches or interruptions
YouTube states: “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” If a match is detected, a placeholder may replace the stream and YouTube may warn you to stop using the content. If it remains, the stream may be interrupted or terminated; copyright or Community Guidelines strikes can also end it. Consult YouTube’s live-stream copyright guidance.

Or let it run in the cloud
For a pre-recorded, rights-cleared sequence, StreamNeo is a cloud option for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos. Upload the video or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay powered on at home; it streams the uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one price per slot, and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly: $9.99 per month. It plays uploaded videos rather than streaming a live camera, so use it only if that fits the programme and your rights permissions.
