Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →To loop one Marathi devotional recording on YouTube Live, add it to OBS as a Media Source and enable Loop. To cycle through several recordings, use OBS’s VLC Video source, add the files to its playlist, and enable Loop Playlist. You still need to connect OBS to a YouTube encoder stream in Live Control Room—and have permission to broadcast every recording and composition.
Choose the right OBS source for your loop
| What you want to play | OBS source | What to set up |
|---|---|---|
| One audio or video file on repeat | Media Source | Enable Loop. |
| Several recordings in a chosen sequence, repeated | VLC Video | Add the files to its playlist and enable Loop Playlist. Keep shuffle off for a fixed order. |
OBS Media Source supports common audio and video formats. VLC Video requires VLC to be installed; 64-bit OBS requires 64-bit VLC. See the OBS Media Sources guide for source setup details. OBS documents looping, but does not promise gapless transitions for every file or system, so test your actual playlist for pauses or gaps.
Set up the loop and connect YouTube
- Prepare your files. Use recordings you have permission to broadcast. Keep the files accessible on the computer running OBS and decide the playlist order before adding them.
- Add the playback source in OBS. For one recording, add a Media Source, select the file, and turn on Loop. For multiple recordings, add a VLC Video source, add each file to its playlist, enable Loop Playlist, and leave shuffle off if you want a set sequence.
- Create or select an encoder stream in YouTube Studio. Open Go Live and choose the encoder workflow. YouTube also has mobile and webcam options, but the steps here are for OBS encoder streaming. Your channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. Check Studio for current eligibility and controls; YouTube may change interface labels. See YouTube’s live-streaming tips.
- Copy the stream URL and key into OBS. Enter them in OBS’s streaming settings. Treat the stream key like a password: do not publish it, share it, or include it in a recording or screenshot. YouTube explains stream settings in Manage live stream settings.
- Preview and test. Check that the video is framed as intended and that the song is audible in OBS’s output mix. Run a short test before the public broadcast, as recommended in the OBS Quick Start Guide. Audio routing depends on your computer and setup, so confirm it on the actual machine.
- Check Live Control Room, then start. Confirm YouTube receives the preview and that both picture and sound are right. Start the stream from OBS when you are ready, and monitor Live Control Room for warnings or interruptions.
Clear rights for the recording and composition
Do not assume that a devotional song is free to stream because it is traditional, religious, credited in the description, or available online. A recording and the underlying composition can have different rights holders. YouTube distinguishes rights in the recording from rights in the composition, which may be managed by different parties. Confirm that permission covers the exact recording, the composition, live broadcast, intended territories, and any archived replay. YouTube’s copyright guidance explains these distinctions, and its livestream terms place responsibility on the content provider to have necessary rights for worldwide exploitation of live content.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match can prompt a warning, replace the stream with a placeholder, interrupt it, or terminate it if it remains. Even licensed third-party material may interrupt a live stream unless the relevant owner adds your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Ask the licensor about allowlisting before scheduling. An archived live stream may also receive a Content ID claim after the broadcast ends. See Copyright issues with live streams.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
If you do not have the necessary rights, consider original music, material confirmed to be public domain, permission from rights holders, YouTube Audio Library, or Creator Music where available. Check the terms for livestream and archive use; a “free” label or credit alone does not establish permission. YouTube lists options in Tips to find safe music. No particular Marathi devotional catalogue or licensing provider is established here, so verify the repertoire and permissions directly before use.
Troubleshoot common loop and stream problems
- The recording stops instead of repeating: Check that Loop is enabled on the Media Source, or that Loop Playlist is enabled on the VLC Video source.
- VLC Video is unavailable in OBS: Install VLC. Match its architecture to OBS; 64-bit OBS requires 64-bit VLC.
- Songs play in the wrong order: Review the VLC playlist and turn off shuffle if you want the recordings to follow a fixed sequence.
- YouTube receives no stream: Check the encoder stream selection and confirm the stream URL and key entered in OBS match the current stream in YouTube Studio. Keep the key private.
- The preview has no sound: Check that the source is playing and that its audio reaches OBS’s output mix; verify the actual computer’s audio routing before going live.
- The stream is interrupted or replaced: Check Live Control Room for a copyright warning or other notice. A license alone may not prevent a Content ID interruption; ask the rights holder whether your channel needs allowlisting.
- The replay receives a claim later: A completed live archive can receive a Content ID claim after the broadcast. Recheck that the license covers archive use.
Or let it run in the cloud
If you would rather not keep OBS and a computer running at home, StreamNeo keeps a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos: upload your recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay powered on at home. It streams uploaded files as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot; it automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. Monthly: $9.99 per month. StreamNeo plays uploaded videos, not a live camera feed, and is for YouTube only. Copyright permissions still apply.
