Argentine singer and model Fede Dorcaz died at 29 on October 9, 2025, after being shot while driving on Anillo Periférico in Mexico City. Early reporting citing the city’s security authority described a possible direct attack, but the motive was not established. An attempted robbery was discussed in initial coverage, not confirmed as the cause.
What happened to Fede Dorcaz?
Dorcaz was shot on the lateral road of Anillo Periférico in Mexico City’s Miguel Hidalgo borough. Reports placed the shooting near Electrificación Street and Ampliación Daniel Garza and said the suspected attackers were riding motorcycles. El Economista, citing AFP, reported that prosecutors were investigating the homicide.
Early reporting by El País said authorities were reviewing surveillance footage and that the motive remained unclear. The account described a possible direct attack. A claim that the shooting was connected to an attempted vehicle robbery was attributed to a television presenter; it was not established as an official finding. Accordingly, the confirmed description is that Dorcaz died after being shot, not that he was killed in a proven robbery.
What is known about the investigation?
In a report dated November 24, 2025, N+ said two men identified as Andy “N” and Geovanni “N” had been detained and linked to proceedings related to the homicide. The report described pretrial detention. That is a report of accusations and procedural steps, not a conviction or a final determination of responsibility.

Who was Fede Dorcaz?
N+ described Dorcaz as an Argentine singer and model. According to his official biography, he was born in Mar del Plata, Argentina, and moved with his family to Palma de Mallorca, Spain, at 13. The biography says he was interested in football, began modeling after an agency in Barcelona signed him at 18, and later pursued music, including time in Los Angeles and Mexico. These personal-history details come from his own promotional biography.
That biography attributes this statement to Dorcaz: “Siempre he elegido el rigor de la disciplina. Cuesta ser disciplinado, pero mucho más caro es no lograr los sueños.”

His music and planned television appearance
Apple Music lists Dorcaz as an Argentine pop singer, dancer, and model, with tracks including “A Su Medida,” “Demasiado Tarde,” “Moka,” “Cara Bonita,” and “Si Tú La Vieras,” which the listing shows as an August 2025 single. Spotify’s artist page also lists several of those songs. These are digital catalog listings; the cited pages do not establish physical releases or merchandise, and streaming catalogs can change.
Dorcaz was expected to take part with Mariana Ávila in the Televisa dance segment Las Estrellas Bailan en Hoy. Broadcaster coverage described the pair as planned for the season and said Dorcaz had been preparing. He died before that planned participation, so he should not be described as having competed on the segment. Las Estrellas’ coverage reported on his death and the planned appearance.
