That is a promise of tone and direction, not a scene-by-scene account of the final episodes. The trailer does not establish every outcome or reveal how each conflict is resolved.
What happens after the Sekai Taikai brawl
Netflix’s account of the preceding part says the tournament was thrown into chaos by failed drug tests and the actions of a disgraced sensei. The crisis culminated in an all-out brawl in which a student died. For Part 3, Netflix frames the story as a reckoning with the shocking tournament result, leaving Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai facing uncertain futures both on and off the mat.

The trailer connects that fallout to the return to the Valley, but its promotional dialogue should not be mistaken for confirmation of a specific episode outcome.

Netflix released the official trailer on February 3, 2025. The Finale Event launched on February 13, 2025, with the final five episodes of the sixth and final season. Netflix describes Season 6 as a 15-episode event released in three parts; Part 3 completed the series.

Why the Valley matters to the finale
Cobra Kai continues the story of the Karate Kid films, returning to the Daniel–Johnny conflict more than three decades after the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament. The trailer’s turn back to the Valley gives that long-running rivalry a fitting setting for its final confrontation, while the fallout from Barcelona supplies the immediate stakes.
