Coachella 2025 took place over two weekends—April 11–13 and April 18–20—at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone and Travis Scott headlined; outside the festival, events ranged from ticketed dance shows to free-with-registration activations and invitation-oriented brand parties. Here’s what was announced for the 2025 edition, including its schedule, livestream and practical details.
Who performed at Coachella 2025?
The headliners were Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone and Travis Scott. The supporting bill crossed genres and generations, with Charli XCX, Missy Elliott, Megan Thee Stallion, Benson Boone, Zedd, Lisa, Jennie, Kraftwerk, Mustard, Tyla, Japanese Breakfast and Arca among the notable names. The announced lineups for the two weekends were not identical in every detail.
Weezer and Ed Sheeran were added when the schedule was released. Weezer was scheduled for a Saturday afternoon Mojave set during Weekend 1, while Ed Sheeran was scheduled for a Mojave set during Weekend 2. FKA twigs withdrew from both Fridays because of visa issues; the Los Angeles Times also reported that Anitta dropped off. These changes are worth bearing in mind when reading the original bill or schedule.
What stood out during Weekend 1
The Associated Press reported that Lady Gaga delivered a five-act performance spanning her career. It also reported that Benson Boone performed “Bohemian Rhapsody” with Queen guitarist Brian May, and that Lisa drew a large crowd to the Sahara tent. Those are reports of performances that took place, distinct from schedule listings, which describe what was announced.

When were the set times released?
The complete schedule was announced April 5, shortly before Weekend 1. The published schedule put Lady Gaga at 11:10 p.m. Pacific on Friday’s main stage. Friday’s main-stage program also included Benson Boone and Missy Elliott; Saturday included Green Day and Travis Scott; Sunday closed with Post Malone. Those are announced schedule details, not a claim that every set proceeded exactly as listed.
For any Coachella edition, check the festival’s official schedule close to the event: set times are edition-specific and can change. The times above refer to the 2025 schedule and Pacific time.
What Coachella parties and events were open to the public?
“Coachella parties” described several different kinds of events in April 2025. Some brand-sponsored parties were invitation-oriented and not necessarily affiliated with the festival; Neon Carnival was one familiar example cited by the Los Angeles Times. Other events were separately ticketed shows, free events or free activations requiring registration. An event’s association with Coachella-area weekend activity did not mean it was part of the festival or included with a festival pass.

Goldenvoice Surf Club
Goldenvoice Surf Club ran at Palm Springs Surf Club on April 12–13 and April 19–20, with daytime music and a surf competition. It was a ticketed, 21+ event; the Los Angeles Times reported passes starting at $49 in April 2025.

Framework in the Desert was reported at the Atlantic Aviation hangar in Thermal, April 11–13. The Los Angeles Times listed day passes at $84.46 or a three-day pass at $213.21, and an age restriction of 21+; these were the prices and terms reported for the 2025 event.

- Ace Hotel & Swim Club: poolside DJs and an artist exhibition were reported. The cited guide did not establish a general public-admission policy; check the event’s own terms rather than assuming access.
- “MuSick: Live from Reggie Watts’ Couch”: a free activation that required registration and included Neil Frances.
- Alt 101.5 pre-party at Big Rock Pub: a free show in Indio featuring De’Wayne, Julia Wolf and The 27’s.
Brand activations such as Neon Carnival were described as invite-oriented, not as reliably open walk-up events. For each outside event, admission depended on its own invitation, ticket or registration requirements.

Where was the Coachella livestream?
The Los Angeles Times reported that performances from both 2025 weekends streamed on YouTube, generally through stage feeds viewers could switch between. The guide said the streamable artists would be announced closer to the festival; it did not say that every set was streamed. Nor does that report establish that the 2025 broadcasts remain available on demand.

Parking, traffic and getting around
The April 2025 guide reported free general parking, with lots opening at 11 a.m. and venue gates opening around 1 p.m. It warned that traffic commonly rose around 3 p.m. and that departing after the final sets could take time. Shuttles and rideshare were also mentioned as options. These times and arrangements are historical details, not a promise about later editions.
Water and packing
For 2025, the guide said attendees could bring an empty refillable plastic container of 64 ounces or less and use refill stations. It reported that metal containers, including aluminum and steel, and glass were not allowed; empty hydration backpacks were also mentioned. The same guide recommended comfortable shoes and socks, a hat, a charging cable and external battery, a mask or bandanna for dust, earplugs and a sweatshirt for cooler evenings. Those were reporter recommendations, not formal requirements.
Accessibility
The official 2025 accessibility guide documented accessible shuttles, a newly added tram between Heineken House and Sahara Stage, captions for select performers, sign-language interpreters for select sets, and elevated viewing platforms with seating. It gave a typical wait of up to 40 minutes for the accessible tram. Availability and arrangements can differ by edition, so attendees should consult the accessibility guide for their specific year.
