- The world's favorite Bad Boys are back with their iconic mix of edge-of-your seat action and outrageous comedy but this time with a twist: Miami's finest are now on the run.
The choice is not safe or guaranteed: Mike’s plan depends on knowing Marcus will trust him and on the vest doing its job. Their history as partners makes the move possible. Earlier, when Mike freezes in a panic while trying to save Christine, Marcus’s familiar slap helps bring him back to the moment. The slap is both a practical intervention in the crisis and a reminder of how well the two men know each other. The Associated Press also singled it out as a conspicuous part of the climax.
What does Mike’s vision of Captain Howard mean?
Mike sees Howard during the climactic crisis. The film does not establish that Howard’s appearance is supernatural; it can also be understood as Mike processing grief and guilt about his mentor. The encounter helps Mike let go of some of that burden and act when Christine is in danger.

That emotional beat connects the conspiracy plot to the series’ family story. Clearing Howard’s name matters not only because the evidence against him was false, but because Mike has to reckon with what he believes he owes the man who helped shape his life.
What happens to Armando?
Armando saves Callie during the final battle. Judy, whose father Armando killed in the previous film, has the chance to take revenge. Callie intervenes, telling Judy that Armando protected her, and Judy lets Mike help him escape.

Mike says “Be good” as Armando leaves. It is a small, restrained farewell rather than a promise that everything between them is fixed. Mike treats Armando as a son who can make better choices, not only as a prisoner and assassin. The film leaves his future unresolved: it does not say whether he will return, join the team, or remain apart from his father.
Why does Reggie get the grill?
In the closing picnic, Reggie asks to use the barbecue, and Mike and Marcus give him the grill. The joke pays off his earlier position as an awkward outsider dating their daughter, as well as his role in defending the Burnett home from McGrath’s attackers. He has earned the older detectives’ respect, and they are willing to let him take the lead for once. The scene is a character payoff, not confirmation of a larger role in a future film.

Does the ending set up another Bad Boys movie?
Armando’s uncertain future and the open-ended goodbye leave room to imagine more of his story, but the coda does not confirm a fifth movie or establish what happens next. Film editor Dan Lebental told The Credits that, for the final moment with Armando, “the important thing was landing the emotional beat.” The focus is on the father-son farewell, not a concrete sequel announcement.

No. Forbes reports that Ride or Die has no end-credits scene. The story’s unresolved threads are part of the ending itself, rather than a hidden scene after the credits.
