Patriots vs. Jets is not playing tonight on Prime Video. The current 2026 NFL schedule does not list a New England–New York game on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, and neither of the teams’ 2026 meetings is scheduled for Thursday Night Football.
The AFC East rivals are scheduled to meet twice in the regular season, with both games currently assigned to CBS:
- Sunday, October 18, 2026: Jets at Patriots, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS
- Sunday, December 27, 2026: Patriots at Jets, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS
Those dates, times, and network assignments appear in the NFL’s 2026 Jets schedule and the league’s 2026 AFC East schedule. Schedules can be adjusted later through NFL scheduling announcements or flex decisions, so check the league listing again near game day.
Why this Patriots–Jets Prime Video listing is incorrect
The wording “Patriots vs. Jets tonight on Prime Video” appears to belong to an older viewing guide, not the current 2026 schedule. The NFL does not list New England at New York—or New York at New England—as a Thursday night game in 2026. It also does not list a Patriots–Jets game on August 11.

A Patriots–Jets Thursday Night Football game did take place during the 2025 season: New England hosted New York on Thursday, November 13, 2025, and the game was carried on Prime Video. That explains why older search results may still use “tonight” and point readers to Amazon’s streaming service. For an accurate current article, however, the date and year matter.

How to watch a real Thursday Night Football game on Prime Video
These instructions apply to a scheduled TNF game—not to the 2026 Patriots–Jets meetings, which are currently assigned to CBS.
- Open the Prime Video app on a compatible smart TV, streaming device, phone, tablet, computer, game console, or supported web browser.
- Sign in with an eligible U.S. Prime account.
- From the Prime Video home page, look for Thursday Night Football. You can also search for the program, open the Sports section, or use the Live & Upcoming carousel.
- Select the game listed for that date and choose the option to play the live broadcast.
Amazon’s official Thursday Night Football viewing guide describes these navigation paths. The NFL says its 15 Thursday Night Football games are available live on Amazon Prime Video for viewers with a U.S. Prime membership, while NFL+ is also listed as an additional option. Subscription terms, trials, device support, and availability can change, so verify the current terms directly before subscribing.

Watching Prime Video on a television
You do not need special hardware to watch Prime Video if the app is already available on your smart TV or another supported device. If your television lacks a convenient Prime Video app, an optional Amazon Fire TV Stick HD can provide access to supported streaming apps, including Prime Video. It is a way to use the service on a compatible television; it does not independently carry the NFL broadcast and is not required for viewing.
Before buying any device, check that your TV has an available HDMI port, that your home internet connection is working, and that the device and Prime Video app are supported in your location. A laptop connected to the TV, a game console, or a built-in smart-TV app may be a simpler alternative.
