3. Peter Frampton Interviewed
I had the pleasure of conversing with Peter Frampton recently through a ZOOM meeting to discuss his latest project – Intervention Records will be releasing a 3 LP Box Set (as well as an SACD) that was cut by Chris Bellman from analog tape at Bernie Grundman Mastering. It’s amazing what can come out of such a collaboration, and Peter was very enthusiastic about this new release. He told me that he has been working hard to make sure that the sound is as pure and true to analog as possible, and that he can’t wait for fans to hear it. He believes it will be a truly special experience for those who appreciate quality music in its purest form.

4. Rig Rundown – Peter Frampton
Peter Frampton’s legendary 1954 Les Paul Custom has a long and storied history. It was dubbed the ‘Phenix’ due to its miraculous survival of a plane crash in Venezuela, though it was thought lost for many years. This historic guitar now resides once again with Peter Frampton, thanks to its recent rediscovery. To celebrate this story, Gibson has created a very limited run of reproductions, designed to perfectly replicate the burn marks, scratches and dings Frampton’s original bears. This is a testament to Peter Frampton’s music and legacy that will last for generations to come. It is truly an iconic instrument in the world of rock ‘n’ roll.
