By the September 2026 Tell All for 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 3, Sarper said the couple had split. TMZ reported on October 2026 coverage that Shekinah filed for divorce on September 29, 2026, and that the filing lists September 22, 2026 as their separation date. A filing is not a final divorce judgment, and the two accounts of what happened differ, so each claim below is tied to the person or outlet that made it.
Where the story stands as of October 8, 2026
The most recent reported facts are the divorce filing and the separation date listed in it. TMZ reported that the filing, which it said it obtained from court documents, names September 22, 2026 as the separation date and September 29, 2026 as the day Shekinah filed. According to the same report, she requested spousal support and the couple has no minor children together. Those are filing details. No final judgment has been reported, and nothing in the reporting establishes how a court will rule on support or property.
The timeline, source by source
The couple’s story unfolds across several different kinds of sources, and they carry different weight. The table separates what each one shows from what it does not.

The Other Way Season 6: the setup
TLC framed Season 6 around Shekinah’s move to Turkey and the questions that came with it. Her return to Turkey was the premise of the season, and the strain over Sarper’s past relationships was part of the storyline. That is the on-screen setup. It explains why viewers saw the couple’s disagreements, but it does not prove what happened in their private life after the cameras stopped.

- Shekinah’s account. She described a different experience of the relationship and tied her move to Miami to her daughter starting college in the area and to leaving Sarper’s tour.
- Sarper’s account. He said the couple split after the season and that Shekinah moved to Miami by herself.
Neither account has been tested in court, and neither has been independently verified. The move is the one point where both accounts describe the same event, but they give different reasons for it. Accusations about private conduct, dating apps, and money have been raised by one side or the other in the coverage, but none of them is established fact, so this article does not repeat them as such.

CinemaBlend, covering an Inked interview, reported Sarper’s comments about a lip-print tattoo on his neck. He said: “Ideally, I would like to have a clean neck again.
