The production team described how Yeun made the performances distinct and how the artists managed the variants’ designs. At WonderCon 2025, executive producer Simon Racioppa also said Thragg had been cast, without naming the actor, and teased Damian’s return.
How many Mark variants does Steven Yeun voice?
Yeun voices 18 alternate Marks in season 3’s episode 7, “What Have I Done?,” which brings the Invincible War to the animated series. ComicBook.com reported that the episode was scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on March 5, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. PT; that is its historical premiere date, not a statement about current availability. ComicBook.com’s episode report said Angstrom Levy gathers Marks from across the multiverse.
How the team made the alternate Marks distinct
Yeun varied the performances
Racioppa said the team discussed giving each Mark a different quality, and Yeun proposed distinct vocal approaches, including making one sound angrier. He carried those choices into the characters’ punches and impacts, Racioppa said in The Beat’s report from the Invincible panel at WonderCon.
The recording process also had to adapt as scenes changed. Racioppa explained that actors sometimes recorded before storyboards and animatics were complete, then returned for ADR when blocking or distance shifted. Yeun sometimes watched the episode and performed lines and sounds to picture until the cut was locked.

What character did the team reveal at WonderCon?
