Fubo is raising the price of its English-language plans as NBCUniversal programming returns to the service. Subscriber notices reportedly describe a $15 monthly increase, but the exact amount and first affected bill depend on the plan, promotion, billing cycle, and account. Fubo’s public pricing pages do not provide a single universal before-and-after table, so existing customers should rely on the notice in their account or email rather than a promotional price shown to new subscribers.
What is changing?
Fubo has announced a new distribution agreement with NBCUniversal. The deal brings NBCUniversal programming back to Fubo through multiple plans, including NBC, Bravo, Telemundo, Universo, NBC Sports regional networks, NBCSN, and new FAST channels. Fubo announced the agreement on June 10, 2026.
The affected category is broadly described as Fubo’s English-language plans. That may include current plans such as Sports + News, sometimes labeled Fubo Sports, Pro, and Elite, as well as legacy bundles such as Core, Ultra, or Premier. It does not automatically mean that every English-language plan ever sold receives the same adjustment. Legacy-plan treatment, add-ons, and grandfathered pricing must be checked in the customer’s notice.

The available evidence does not establish one publicly confirmed increase for every plan. Customer communications reportedly identify a $15 monthly increase, but subscribers should verify their own old price, new recurring price, and effective date in the notice sent by Fubo. The public signup pages show current or promotional prices, not necessarily what an existing customer pays.

How much will Fubo cost?
Fubo’s displayed prices have varied by page, promotion, market, and account state. One official pricing display showed these regular monthly rates:

A separate official Fubo page displayed $64.99 for Sports + News, $88.99 for Pro, and $98.99 for Elite. That difference is why these figures should not be treated as a universal replacement for an existing subscriber’s account-specific rate. Taxes, regional sports fees, add-ons, and third-party billing may also change the final charge.
To calculate the impact shown in your notice:
(new monthly price − old monthly price) ÷ old monthly price × 100For example, a $15 increase adds $180 over 12 months before taxes and fees. The percentage impact is larger on a cheaper plan than on a more expensive one.

When does the increase begin?
There are several dates to distinguish:
- Agreement date: Fubo announced the NBCUniversal deal on June 10, 2026.
- Channel-restoration date: Programming may roll out by plan and market rather than becoming identical for every account on one day.
- New-customer price: A new subscriber sees the price offered at signup, including any introductory promotion.
- Existing-customer price: The higher rate normally begins on the customer’s first affected renewal.
- Quarterly or annual customers: The change may not appear until the next renewal, according to the terms in the account notice.
Fubo generally bills in advance at the beginning of each individual billing cycle. Sign in to Fubo and open Account → Billing → Billing Summary → Next Payment to find the next scheduled charge. Monthly plan changes generally preserve the billing-cycle date. Do not assume that “next month” means the same calendar date for every subscriber.
Why is Fubo raising prices?
The increase follows Fubo’s new NBCUniversal distribution agreement, which restores programming that had left the service. Fubo previously said NBCUniversal networks were removed at 5 p.m. ET on November 21, 2025, after a dispute over pricing and packaging terms. Its help-center explanation characterized the earlier terms as excessively costly.
The new agreement is therefore both a content-restoration event and a programming-cost event. Fubo has not, in the evidence available here, published a contractual explanation proving that NBCUniversal alone caused the precise dollar increase. The safest description is that the price change follows the agreement and the return of its programming.

What channels are returning?
Fubo’s announcement names or references:
- NBC and local NBC affiliates where available;
- Bravo;
- Telemundo and Universo;
- NBC Sports regional networks in the Bay Area, Boston, California, and Philadelphia;
- NBCSN; and
- new NBCUniversal FAST channels and other networks distributed according to plan.
The earlier removal affected a wider group of networks, including CNBC, MSNBC, Golf Channel, USA Network, Syfy, Oxygen True Crime, E!, Bravo, NBC local affiliates, Telemundo, Universo, and NBC Sports regional networks. That list should not be read as a promise that every channel is included with every plan. Local affiliates and regional sports networks depend on location, while national networks can be package-specific. Check Fubo’s current channel guide for your ZIP code and plan.

How to verify your own Fubo increase
- Sign in at Fubo account.
- Open Account, then Billing.
- Review Billing Summary, the plan name, recurring price, and Next Payment.
- Search your email for Fubo’s price-change notice.
- Compare the notice’s recurring price—not its first-month promotion—with your next bill.
- Check separately for taxes, regional sports fees, premium add-ons, and charges from Roku or another billing provider.
Fubo’s billing documentation explains how to view payment history and upcoming charges. A free-trial price or public signup offer can differ substantially from an existing customer’s renewal price.
Who gets value from the higher price?
Keep Fubo if you need NBC or an NBC regional sports network
The increase may be worthwhile for a household that needs a local NBC station or follows an NBC regional sports network in one of the supported markets. Restored NBC sports programming and NBCUniversal entertainment or news channels may also replace a separate service or prevent the need to maintain another live-TV subscription.

Reconsider if you do not watch NBCUniversal channels
If your household rarely watches NBC, Bravo, Telemundo, MSNBC, CNBC, USA, or related networks, the restored programming does not add much practical value. Compare Fubo’s new recurring bill with the cost of a smaller service and any sports subscription you actually use.
Separate sports needs from entertainment needs
A sports fan may value Fubo’s DVR, multiview-oriented features, local coverage, and plan-specific 4K availability. A viewer mainly seeking entertainment may find that a cheaper bundle or on-demand service covers the real viewing needs. Channel count alone is a poor measure of value.

Removing an add-on is different from changing the base plan. Fubo says add-on removals generally remain active until the end of the current billing cycle. Base-plan upgrades can take effect immediately with a prorated charge, while downgrades can produce a prorated credit on the next bill. The exact channel effect can depend on the type of change.

Fubo separately announced a $1 increase for the STARZ, MGM+, and Premium add-ons beginning with billing cycles on or after May 3, 2026. That is separate from the English-language base-plan increase.
If you cancel, complete the cancellation before the next renewal date to avoid another charge. Customers billed through Roku or another platform may need to make changes through that billing provider. Fubo says Roku in-app subscribers may be unable to change their subscription on the Fubo website; see its subscription-change instructions.
Alternatives to Fubo

Peacock can provide some NBCUniversal programming, but it is not a complete replacement for Fubo’s live-TV bundle, local affiliates, or all regional sports networks. A cheaper alternative works only if it contains the specific channels and events your household watches.

- Write down the new recurring Fubo price, including unavoidable fees.
- List the channels and sports rights you actually watch each month.
- Check local NBC and regional sports availability by ZIP code on every candidate service.
- Price each alternative after its introductory period, including add-ons and taxes where disclosed.
- Account for DVR, simultaneous streams, 4K, multiview, and the inconvenience of maintaining multiple subscriptions.
- Cancel or downgrade before renewal if the replacement covers your needs at a lower effective cost.
Fubo and Hulu + Live TV may share a corporate relationship, but they remain separate consumer services with separate plans and subscriptions. One is not automatically a replacement for the other.
