The complete Survivor 50 cast at a glance
The roster covered nearly the entire history of the franchise. Cirie Fields and Ozzy Lusth had the most previous appearances, with four seasons each before Survivor 50. Colby Donaldson, Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick, Benjamin “Coach” Wade and Aubry Bracco each had three earlier appearances.

Players from Seasons 35 through 42
Chrissy Hofbeck represented Season 35, Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.
Season 37, David vs. Goliath, supplied three members of the cast: Christian Hubicki, Angelina Keeley and Mike White. They returned alongside Rick Devens, whose previous appearance was Season 38, Edge of Extinction.
Jonathan Young was the Season 42 representative. He later became one of Aubry’s two opponents in the Survivor 50 Final 3.
The New Era representatives
The rest of the cast came from Seasons 45 through 49, giving Survivor 50 a concentrated group of more recent players rather than relying only on contestants from the early years.

- Dee Valladares and Emily Flippen came from Season 45. Dee was the Season 45 winner.
- Q Burdette, Tiffany Ervin and Charlie Davis came from Season 46.
- Genevieve Mushaluk came from Season 47.
- Kamilla Karthigesu, Kyle Fraser and Joseph “Joe” Hunter came from Season 48. Kyle was the Season 48 winner.
- Savannah Louie and Rizo Velovic came from Season 49.
This creates a useful history-of-the-franchise contrast, but Survivor 50 should not be described as having formally divided the contestants into “old-school” and “New Era” tribes unless a source documents that exact structure. The cast spanned those periods; that does not by itself establish official teams or a separate competitive format.
Why Savannah Louie and Rizo Velovic were revealed later
The original May 28, 2025 cast announcement named 22 players. The two remaining places were held for Season 49 contestants because Season 49 had not yet aired. Once that season’s cast and results were no longer being protected, Savannah Louie and Rizo Velovic were revealed as the final two members of the Survivor 50 roster.
That delayed reveal explains why some early cast lists contain only 22 names. A complete retrospective list must include all 24 players, including both Season 49 returnees.
What made Survivor 50 different?
Survivor 50 was not simply an anniversary season with a returning cast. Its official subtitle, In the Hands of the Fans, referred to a viewer-voting premise that allowed fans to influence major elements of the game.

According to the official announcement, viewers voted on questions including:
- whether idols would be used;
- whether the Final Four fire-making format would remain; and
- whether the finale would use a live Los Angeles format or a Fiji-based winner reveal and aftershow.
The players were not told the results of those votes until they were competing. That distinction matters: the audience influenced the structure, but the castaways still had to deal with the consequences inside the game.
The official CBS Season 50 episode guide also identifies several unusual season features, including the return of the Survivor auction, celebrity appearances by MrBeast and Zac Brown, a Blood Moon Tribal Council and an episode with three eliminations.
Survivor 50 episode schedule and finale
CBS scheduled a three-hour premiere on February 25, 2026, followed by 90-minute episodes. The regular episode run continued through May 13, with the finale, titled Reverse the Curse, airing live on May 20.
Because the season is finished, pre-season predictions about which returning player would have the best strategy or the largest threat level should not be presented as results. The more reliable way to understand the season now is to separate the documented cast history from the completed outcome.

Aubry Bracco won Survivor 50. She defeated Jonathan Young and Joe Hunter in the Final 3 and received the season’s $2 million prize, according to Paramount’s finale announcement.
Her victory also came with a Toyota Land Cruiser. The network described the vehicle as reversing Survivor’s so-called car curse, the long-running idea that receiving a car during the game can damage a contestant’s chances of winning.
Cirie Fields won the audience-selected $100,000 Sia Fan Favorite award. That award was separate from the jury’s decision that determined the season’s champion.

The Survivor 50 cast in context
The roster’s defining feature was its range. Jenna Lewis-Dougherty represented the opening chapter in Season 1, while Savannah Louie and Rizo Velovic came from Season 49. In between were four-time returnees, three-time returnees, players from the popular middle-era seasons and contestants from the recent New Era.
That spread made Survivor 50 a cast guide to the franchise’s evolution as much as a list of contestants. It included players whose previous records stretched across several returning-player seasons and players who had appeared only once before. The final result added another layer to that history: Aubry, already a three-time player, became the winner of the completed 50th season.
