How the two-night finale worked
Season 27 premiered on February 3, 2025, with Adam Levine, John Legend, Michael Bublé and Kelsea Ballerini serving as coaches and Carson Daly hosting. Adam David — Team Michael Bublé, winner
David was a 34-year-old singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He had already worked as a professional musician before appearing on the show, so Bublé did not discover an inexperienced performer; rather, the coach became the only one to turn for a working artist whose progress continued throughout the competition. His one-chair Blind Audition, Wildcard Instant Save and eventual victory formed the clearest step-by-step arc of the season.
Jaelen Johnston — Team Kelsea Ballerini, runner-up
Johnston finished second for Team Ballerini. Earlier in the season, Ballerini used her Super Save to bring Johnston back during the Playoffs. He then advanced from the semifinals through viewer voting and reached the finale, where he performed Dierks Bentley’s What Was I Thinkin’ and Chris Stapleton’s Cold.
RENZO — Team John Legend, third place
Styled in all caps, RENZO is a 33-year-old Philadelphia artist who had previously appeared on American Idol under the name Dennis Lorenzo. He was one of the four finalists who earned a direct semifinal advance through the viewer vote. His finale solos were Lenny Kravitz’s Fly Away and Jeff Buckley’s Lover, You Should’ve Come Over.
Lucia Flores-Wiseman — Team Adam Levine, fourth place
Flores-Wiseman, 22 during the season, is from Maple Valley, Washington. She made an immediate impression with La Llorona, earning an instant four-chair turn during the Blind Auditions. She reached the finale as one of the four direct semifinal vote-getters and performed Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here and Billie Eilish’s WILDFLOWER.

Jadyn Cree — Team Michael Bublé, fifth place
Cree was 23 during Season 27 and is from Lincoln, Nebraska. She is the daughter of Bryan Olesen, who was a finalist on Season 25—not Season 27. Cree gave Bublé two finalists in the finale and performed Dexys Midnight Runners’ Come On Eileen and Selena Gomez’s Lose You to Love Me.
