The Netflix listing identifies the film as rated PG. Listed options include English original audio, Spanish-Latin American audio, English audio description, and English and Spanish-Latin American subtitles. Language choices can differ depending on location and account settings.
Netflix libraries are regional, so a title available in the United States may not appear in another country. If the film does not show up, check the profile’s maturity setting, search the title without punctuation, and confirm that you are using the catalog for your current location.

Streaming on Peacock
Peacock also currently lists The Bad Guys 2 as available to watch. Use the search tool in Peacock and open the official movie page to see whether your plan includes playback or whether an upgrade is required.
Subscription tiers and availability can change. The most reliable check is the play screen inside Peacock, rather than an old search result or a third-party streaming guide.
Renting or buying the movie digitally
If you do not subscribe to Netflix or Peacock, the film is available through major digital storefronts, including:
- Amazon Video
- Apple TV Store
- Fandango at Home
Universal’s home-entertainment release began on August 19, 2025, with digital options to rent or own the film. Retailers can set different prices, rental periods, picture qualities, and device restrictions, so compare the final checkout price before paying.
How to avoid paying twice
- Check Netflix and Peacock first if you already have either subscription.
- If you are using Amazon, read the button carefully. It should say Rent, Buy, or Included with Prime.
- Confirm that the listing is for the 2025 sequel, not the original The Bad Guys.
- Check whether the rental expires after a set period or after you begin watching.
- Verify the account and device you intend to use before completing the purchase.
Is The Bad Guys 2 free to watch?
There is no verified free, ad-supported or library-streaming option currently listed for the United States. The confirmed subscription choices are Netflix and Peacock. Those services require their own memberships, although a particular plan, promotion, or household arrangement may affect the price.
Be cautious with websites promising a free full movie outside recognized services. They may use misleading play buttons, aggressive pop-ups, or unauthorized copies. A free result on a search page is not evidence that the film is legally available without payment.
Rank #3
Are there still theater showtimes?
Regular U.S. showtimes are not currently listed on Fandango. Its movie page shows the calendar without active times and provides a NOTIFY ME option instead. The original wide theatrical release was August 1, 2025.
That does not rule out an occasional revival screening, festival presentation, or special event. To check locally:
- Open the film’s Fandango movie page.
- Enter your ZIP code or select your city.
- Look for a specific theater and date with an actual ticket button.
- If a separate listing claims tickets are available, confirm the showtime on the theater’s own website before traveling.
A third-party page that still displays generic ticket language should not be treated as proof of a current screening when the ticketing page has no active times.
4K UHD and Blu-ray release
For viewers who prefer a physical copy, the 4K UHD and Blu-ray release arrived on October 7, 2025. Universal’s release includes the animated short Little Lies and Alibis along with additional bonus material.
Physical editions can be useful if you want a permanent copy, offline playback, or extras that may not be included with a streaming version. Check the packaging for the correct format and regional compatibility, particularly when buying from an international seller.

Is The Bad Guys 2 included with Amazon Prime?
Not necessarily. Amazon Video may offer it as a separate rental or purchase. Check whether the listing says “Included with Prime” rather than assuming that an Amazon page is included in your membership.
Can I still see The Bad Guys 2 in theaters?
Regular U.S. showtimes are not currently listed on Fandango. Occasional revival or special-event screenings may appear, so check your ZIP code and the local theater directly.
Where can I buy the physical version of The Bad Guys 2?
The 4K UHD and Blu-ray editions were released on October 7, 2025. They include the short “Little Lies and Alibis” and other bonus material.
The Bottom Line
For a subscription, check Netflix or Peacock first. For a one-time viewing, compare the rental prices on Amazon Video, Apple TV Store, and Fandango at Home. There are currently no regular U.S. theater showtimes listed on Fandango, and an Amazon listing should not be confused with Prime-included streaming.
