YouTube Music’s Mixed for you shelf can open into a dedicated grid of personalized mixes through Home → Mixed for you → More. It is primarily a navigation and discovery improvement—not a newly verified recommendation system or an August 2026 launch. The grid view was reported during a rollout on June 24, 2022, with availability observed on Android, iOS, and the web.
What the “Mixed for you” grid changes
The regular Mixed for you shelf on YouTube Music’s Home tab presents a limited selection in a horizontal carousel. The grid destination exposes more of those personalized playlists together, making them easier to scan and open.
In practical terms, the change is closer to moving from a short row of recommendations to a full browse page. It does not, based on the available reporting, create a separate recommendation engine, guarantee new music, or change the contents or refresh schedule of each individual mix.

How to open the grid
- Open YouTube Music and sign in to the intended Google account.
- Go to the Home tab.
- Find the Mixed for you shelf.
- Tap or click More in the shelf’s upper-right corner.
- Select a playlist tile to open or play that mix.
This was the reported path on Android, iOS, and the web player. YouTube Music’s interface can change between platforms and over time, so the shelf or control may be positioned differently on a particular account.
Which mixes can appear?
Reported examples included:
- My Supermix
- My Mix 1 through My Mix 7
- Discover Mix
- New Release Mix
- Replay Mix
- Your Likes
- Mood and activity mixes for Chill, Focus, Workout, and Energy
This is not a guaranteed inventory. YouTube Music personalizes recommendations, and the tiles shown can vary with listening history, region, account state, platform, and subsequent product changes. The grid should therefore be understood as a broader destination for available mixes, not a fixed catalog that every user receives.

How it differs from mood filters
Mood filters organize recommendations around activities or moods. The Mixed for you grid is a wider collection of personalized mixes, some of which may themselves be mood-oriented. In other words, the grid can make Chill, Focus, Workout, or Energy mixes easier to find, but it is not simply another name for the mood-filter interface.
Why the feature may be missing
The original reports characterized the grid as a gradual, account- or server-side rollout. That means users can see different Home layouts even when they use the same service and platform. The presence of the feature on one account does not prove that it has been enabled for every account.

If More is not visible, try these low-risk checks:
- Confirm that you are using the intended Google account.
- Update YouTube Music through the relevant app store.
- Fully close and reopen the app.
- Check the Home tab rather than Library or Search.
- Look specifically for the Mixed for you shelf.
- Try the web player if the mobile app does not show it, or try mobile if the web player does not.
These steps can rule out an outdated app or a misplaced control, but they cannot reliably force a server-side rollout. There is no verified evidence in the available coverage of a permanent Settings → Grid view switch. Clearing cache, reinstalling the app, changing networks, or repeatedly refreshing should not be presented as guaranteed activation methods.
What the grid does not promise
- It does not prove that YouTube Music’s recommendation algorithm changed.
- It does not guarantee better recommendations or additional music.
- It does not make every reported mix available to every account.
- It does not establish a change to Premium eligibility, playback controls, or playlist refresh timing.
- It does not necessarily look identical on Android, iOS, and the web.
Bottom line
YouTube Music’s “Mixed for you” grid is a useful shortcut for browsing more personalized playlists in one place. Find it through Home → Mixed for you → More when the account has the feature. Treat claims that it is a brand-new August 2026 rollout, universally available, or manually enabled through a setting with caution: the strongest matching report dates to June 2022, and availability remains dependent on the account and current interface.
