Will there be an Alice in Borderland season 4? Netflix had not announced a fourth season in its latest direct status statement located for this article: a Netflix Tudum explainer published October 3, 2025, said, “There’s no word yet on a fourth season of the series.” That is not a cancellation notice, and the finale’s hint of a wider story is not confirmation of renewal.
Has Netflix renewed Alice in Borderland for season 4?
No season 4 renewal had been announced in Netflix Tudum’s October 3, 2025 ending explainer. The statement is a dated account of what Netflix had announced at that time; it does not establish that the show was cancelled or predict what Netflix may decide later. Because renewal status can change, treat that statement as the latest direct confirmation cited here, not as a new October 2026 announcement. Read Netflix Tudum’s ending explainer.

Does season 3’s ending set up another season?
It leaves room for one, but does not confirm one. Netflix Tudum says Arisu and Usagi return to the real world, while the final US scene shows a waitress wearing an “Alice” name tag. The image suggests that Borderland’s games could extend overseas; Netflix has not described it as a season 4 order, a confirmed US setting, or a production plan.
What is confirmed about season 3?
Netflix released season 3 worldwide on September 25, 2025, according to its Media Center. The season’s premise has Arisu return to Borderland to save Usagi and face the Joker stage. Netflix announced the season on September 27, 2023. Netflix Media Center: Alice in Borderland.

Could the manga provide more story?
The series is based on Haro Aso’s Alice in Borderland manga, published by Shogakukan in Shonen Sunday Comics, as Netflix describes in its 2023 season announcement. The source material is a path for readers curious about the original story, but its existence does not show what Netflix might adapt next—or whether it will order another season.

They do not confirm a renewal. In its September 27, 2023 announcement of season 3, Netflix said season 2 accumulated 200 million viewing hours worldwide in its first four weeks, the highest of any title from Japan. That is a historical figure about season 2 in 2023, not current viewing data or evidence of a season 4 decision. Netflix’s announcement.
