ComingSoon reproduced the statement on November 19, 2024, the day after Bliss posted it. The four reasons she named were recovery from skin cancer removal, pregnancy, preeclampsia, and postpartum health complications. They are her account; the report does not provide independent medical documentation or additional details about treatment, severity, or timing.

Bliss announced in early 2023 that she and her husband, Ryan Cabrera, were expecting their first child. ComingSoon reported that she went on hiatus after the announcement and identifies her match against Bianca Belair at the 2023 Royal Rumble as her last match before the break.

Her explanation in 2024
On November 18, 2024, Bliss connected the period away to the sequence of health and family events in her reply. Her statement provides the explanation she chose to give; it does not establish a more detailed medical timeline.
Return at the 2025 Royal Rumble
WWE’s official Royal Rumble 2025 highlights video, published February 1, 2025, identifies Bliss’s appearance at the event as her first since 2023.

Her later time away from television was a separate period
In an August 2025 interview recap, Bliss described time away from television after her Royal Rumble return as refreshing and said she pitched story ideas to WWE’s creative team. That later gap should not be confused with the original hiatus she explained in 2024: it came after her return and was described in terms of time off television and creative collaboration, not as another account of the earlier pregnancy- and health-related absence.
