PerthNow described the featured person as an unidentified agent in Biden’s security detail. The report did not give his name or establish a specific agency role beyond that description. The clip and the report do not support identifying him from appearance or from reposts.
Why did viewers compare him to Tom Cruise?
The report described the man wearing khaki pants, a knit sweater, a black trench coat and classic black Wayfarers. A viewer comment reproduced by PerthNow said, “He’s conveying Tom Cruise to me in Top Gun vibes.” That was a subjective reaction to his appearance, not an identification or an official assessment.
