The Fantastic Four: First Steps stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm. Marvel’s film listing also names five additional cast members, though it does not assign them characters.
Who plays the Fantastic Four?
| Actor | Character |
|---|---|
| Pedro Pascal | Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic |
| Vanessa Kirby | Susan “Sue” Storm / Invisible Woman |
| Joseph Quinn | Johnny Storm / Human Torch |
| Ebon Moss-Bachrach | Ben Grimm / The Thing |
Marvel’s cast announcement confirms these four lead roles. They are the film’s central team, also known as Marvel’s First Family.
Who else is in the cast?
Marvel’s official film listing also names Ralph Ineson, Julia Garner, Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne and Sarah Niles. That listing confirms their cast membership but does not specify their characters, so their roles should not be treated as established by it.
What is the movie called, and what is its setting?
The film’s official title is The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Disney describes its world as 1960s-inspired and retro-futuristic, distinguishing this version from a straightforward contemporary setting. See Disney’s film page for its official description.
