Marcus Jordan is Michael Jordan’s son and a former University of Central Florida basketball player. He was arrested in Maitland, Florida, on February 4, 2025, after police found his Lamborghini SUV stuck on railroad tracks. The initial cocaine-possession allegation later changed to ketamine possession. In March 2026, TMZ reported that Jordan had completed a pretrial intervention agreement and that the charges would be dropped; the reviewed sources do not include a final dismissal order.
Who is Marcus Jordan?
Marcus Jordan is the son of former NBA star Michael Jordan. He played basketball at the University of Central Florida (UCF). The Washington Post reported in February 2025 that he owned a boutique shoe store in downtown Orlando; that report does not establish whether the shop remains open today. The Washington Post and The Associated Press identify him as Michael Jordan’s son and a former UCF player.
What happened when he was arrested?
Maitland police arrested Jordan on February 4, 2025, after finding a blue Lamborghini SUV stuck on railroad tracks. The Washington Post’s account of the arrest report said the tires were partly buried in dirt and an incoming train was reported to be about ten minutes away. The Associated Press also reported that the vehicle was immobile on the tracks as a commuter train approached. Those details come from police and arrest-report accounts, not a finding of guilt. The Washington Post and The Associated Press
Early reports described allegations of driving under the influence, cocaine possession, and resisting an officer without violence. These were charges, not proof of criminal conduct.

Why did the reported drug charge change?
On February 25, 2025, ClickOrlando reported that the Orange-Osceola State Attorney’s Office filed new information changing the drug allegation from cocaine possession to ketamine possession. The report attributed the change to a Florida Department of Law Enforcement laboratory report that identified ketamine and MDA in the substance. The later reporting therefore describes a ketamine-possession charge, not the initial cocaine allegation. ClickOrlando
