The divorce filing
According to AP, the petition cited “irreconcilable differences.” ET reported that the filing listed February 20, 2023, as the date of separation. The divorce was filed in September 2023, and AP reported that the Los Angeles Superior Court judgment became official on March 19, 2024. The gap between filing and finalization reflects the normal court process rather than a dispute that remained open, though the reporting does not describe the timing in detail.
Settlement terms as reported
AP reported that the couple had a prenuptial agreement, no children, and no significant legal disputes during the split. Its account of the settlement said Grande would:

The dollar amounts and the guest count are specific reported details. The $1,250,000 payment and the $25,000 fee cap come from AP’s account of court documents as of the 2024 finalization. The fewer-than-20 guest figure comes from ABC News’ 2023 reporting of a representative’s statement, and it describes one event rather than a broader trend. None of these numbers should be read as a benchmark for other celebrity divorces.
