Who Does MatPat Play in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2? Toy Bonnie Role Explained

MatPat voices Toy Bonnie in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, according to a secondary film reference. Universal confirms Matthew “MatPat” Patrick is among the sequel’s new animatronic voice performers, but its casting announcement does not identify which character he plays. The Toy Bonnie credit should therefore be treated as a reported role attribution, not a character assignment confirmed by Universal.

Is MatPat Toy Bonnie in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2?

Yes: a secondary film reference identifies MatPat as the voice of Toy Bonnie. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s announcement confirms Patrick’s participation as a voice performer for one of the new animatronics, alongside Megan Fox and Kellen Goff, but does not match any of the three performers to a specific character.

That distinction matters if you are looking for an official studio confirmation. Universal establishes that MatPat is in the voice cast; the specific Toy Bonnie attribution comes from the secondary reference. The available official announcement does not independently verify that role assignment.

What is Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 about?

The 2025 sequel continues the story of the game franchise. Universal’s synopsis says that, a year after the events at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, Abby sneaks out to reconnect with Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. Her actions lead to secrets about Freddy’s origins coming to light and a long-hidden horror being released.
