Italian television coverage in 2026 places him in public interviews, but his childhood in Italy and a past teenage home outside Milan are not evidence of his current residence. Nor does his mother’s reported home in Spain establish where he lives.
What is known about Killian Nielsen’s location?
Mediaset says Killian Nielsen, also known as Marcus Gastineau, was born in 1989 to Brigitte Nielsen and American football player Mark Gastineau, and grew up in Italy. A January 2026 account of his appearance on Verissimo recounts that he lived outside Milan at age 16. These are biographical details, not a current address. Mediaset’s profile and its interview recap do not confirm where he lives now.

Brigitte Nielsen’s reported residence is separate information. In a December 2024 interview, Vogue Germany said she had moved to Marbella with her husband and daughter and that three of her sons lived in Milan; the article did not name those sons or identify Killian as one of them. That report does not establish his current location.
What has he said publicly in recent coverage?
Killian appeared in Italian television coverage in 2026. RaiPlay’s May 4, 2026 listing says the 36-year-old appealed to his mother to rebuild their relationship and said he wanted to know his younger sister, Frida. On April 27, 2026, Vanity Fair Italia described him as estranged from his mother and reported his hope for reconciliation. Those accounts describe his public statements at the time; they do not show whether the relationship later changed.

#1 Best Overall
- Used Book in Good Condition
In Mediaset’s January 24, 2026 recap of Verissimo, Killian described a difficult period as a teenager, including homelessness and alcohol and drug misuse. He said Laura Mara Barbieri helped him after he lost his home. These are recollections attributed to him, not independently verified clinical findings. Mediaset also reported that he celebrated five years of sobriety in 2025; that is a dated report, not a new assessment of his present circumstances. Read Mediaset’s account.
Mediaset and Vanity Fair Italia identified Laura Mara Barbieri as his partner in their 2026 coverage. The available reports do not confirm whether they remain together in October 2026.

Why the answer remains uncertain
- Growing up in Italy and living outside Milan as a teenager are past locations.
- Television appearances show that he spoke publicly in Italy; they do not establish where he resides.
- Reports about Brigitte Nielsen’s home or her other sons cannot be used to infer Killian’s address.
Accordingly, the most accurate answer is that his current residence has not been publicly confirmed in the cited coverage.
