The Later Daters ended with some promising connections, but its couples did not all stay together. In interviews published in December 2024, Anise said she and Willie had split after dating for six months, while Suzanne described Avery as a close friend. Nate, Pam and Lori also described themselves as single at the time. These are dated updates, not a verified account of everyone’s relationship status today.
What is The Later Daters?
Netflix’s eight-episode 2024 documentary series follows six singles in the greater Atlanta area as they date with help from family and friends. Dating coach Logan Ury guides the group. The season was released on November 29, 2024, and Michelle Obama is an executive producer. Netflix’s series listing and its Tudum guide describe the show and its premise.

The finale leaves room for hope rather than settling every story. Here is how each dater’s on-screen prospects compared with the later updates reported by People and Marie Claire.
Where are the six daters now?
Anise
On the show: Anise and Willie were still dating in the finale’s time jump. Later update: Anise told People on December 3, 2024, that they dated for six months after filming and then separated. She said they did not have enough in common, lived far apart and wanted different things; she added that they remained friendly. People’s cast update reported her account. Anise and Willie were no longer a couple by that interview.

Suzanne
On the show: Suzanne and Avery chose to keep seeing each other. Later update: Suzanne told People they had dated briefly after filming and reconnected, but were “really, really good friends.” She said she remained interested in seeing him, while also noting that they were seeing other people. That interview, published in December 2024, described a friendship and an open possibility—not a confirmed relationship. People’s interview contains her comments.
Nate
On the show: Nate explored connections with Michelle and Lisa, but neither became a relationship. Later update: In People’s December 2024 report, Nate described himself as a bachelor who had stepped back from actively looking, while remaining open to an organic connection. That is his reported status at the time of the interview, not a confirmed current update. People reported his comments.

Pam
On the show: Pam considered what she wanted from dating while reflecting on her past. Later update: She told People she was single and spoke occasionally with Dwight, whom she described as lovely, but said their connection was not romantic. She also said she was no longer helping with his Atlanta tours. Her December 2024 comments are the direct status update available here. People’s report has her account.
Lori
On the show: Lori pursued Felton, a friend she had a crush on, but their relationship remained platonic. Later update: Lori told People in December 2024 that Felton had become her best friend and that they spoke several times a week. She described herself as “single as a dollar bill.” People’s update reports her comments.

Greg
On the show: Greg arrived later in the season, enjoyed a date with Kelly, and initially passed because of the distance. People reported that he reconsidered and reached out, but Kelly had begun seeing someone else. A later Marie Claire roundup reported, citing Anise, that Greg was engaged. That is a secondhand report: the article does not quote Greg, identify his partner or independently confirm the engagement, so it should not be treated as a verified current status.

The finale captured early possibilities, not guaranteed long-term outcomes. Anise and Willie dated after filming but later split, while Suzanne and Avery were described by Suzanne as friends. Nate, Pam and Lori were reported single in People’s December 2024 update, though their circumstances differed: Nate had stepped back from dating, Pam spoke occasionally with Dwight, and Lori remained close to Felton as a friend.
The updates are not equally direct. People’s December 2024 story reports comments from the daters themselves; Marie Claire’s report about Greg’s engagement attributes the claim to Anise.
