This is the announced U.S. Prime Video schedule for April 2025, including new originals, licensed movies and series, returning shows, and NWSL matches. The month’s main draws were The Bondsman (April 3), G20 (April 10), Conclave and Gladiator II (April 22), and Nickel Boys (April 29). “On Prime Video” does not necessarily mean included at no extra cost with Prime: check each title’s page for membership, rental, purchase, or channel requirements.
This calendar documents the schedule announced for April 2025; it does not guarantee that titles remain available today. Dates and catalogs vary by country.
April’s biggest Prime Video releases
- The Bondsman — April 3: A supernatural action series starring Kevin Bacon. A murdered bounty hunter is brought back by the Devil and tasked with recapturing escaped demons. A strong pick for viewers after horror-tinged action.
- G20 — April 10: An original feature starring Viola Davis, and the month’s headline new movie from Prime Video. Choose it for a contemporary action-thriller rather than a catalog rewatch.
- Conclave — April 22: A political thriller and drama centered on the selection of a new pope. It is the month’s prestige-oriented choice.
- Gladiator II — April 22: The large-scale follow-up to Gladiator, suited to viewers looking for a historical action spectacle and franchise continuation.
- Nickel Boys — April 29: A literary adaptation and awards-season title, offering a more serious drama option at the end of the month.
Those are editorial picks, not claims about ratings or current availability. Other notable dates include the licensed action film Jack Reacher: Never Go Back on April 14 and American Horror Story Season 12 on April 24.

April 1: Movies and catalog additions
Amazon announced this extensive batch of films, specials, and television seasons for April 1. Many are older catalog titles newly added or returning to the service, rather than new productions.

A season listing alone does not establish whether every episode was available at once or released on a weekly cadence. Check the show’s episode list in Prime Video for the release pattern; the announcement does not provide episode-by-episode dates for these titles.

Live-event access can depend on territory, league rights, blackout rules, and account or subscription conditions. Check the event listing in your local Prime Video service before match day.
Does “on Prime Video” mean included with Prime?
No. Amazon’s monthly announcement covers the broader Prime Video lineup, which can include programming available with a Prime membership as well as rentals, purchases, channel subscriptions, and other offerings. Before pressing play, open the title page and look for the Prime membership indicator, a rental or purchase price, or a prompt to subscribe to a channel. Do not assume that a title is included just because it appears in the service’s schedule.

Prime Video and Amazon Prime are related but not interchangeable labels: Prime Video is the streaming service, while Amazon Prime is a wider membership that includes access to selected video programming. Membership does not guarantee that every visible movie, show, or live event is included. Ad availability and any ad-free option can also depend on current plan terms.
