Disney+’s biggest U.S. releases in June 2021 included Loki, Pixar’s Luca, Raya and the Last Dragon, The Mysterious Benedict Society, Wolfgang and Season 2 of Zenimation. The month also brought new episodes of several returning series and additions for younger viewers. This is a historical U.S. schedule; it does not confirm what remains available on Disney+ today.
June’s headline Disney+ releases
- June 4 — Raya and the Last Dragon: The animated feature became available to all Disney+ subscribers after its earlier Premier Access window. Us Again also joined the service.
- June 9 — Loki: The Marvel series premiered, beginning a weekly Wednesday episode schedule.
- June 11 — Zenimation Season 2: The animated short-form series returned with a new season.
- June 18 — Luca: Pixar’s feature premiered on Disney+ with no additional Premier Access charge at the time.
- June 25 — The Mysterious Benedict Society and Wolfgang: The former was a new series; the latter, a documentary film.
Disney framed June as the start of a summer slate featuring weekly original episodes, a “New to Disney+” movie each week and family-oriented programming. The official Summer of Disney+ announcement covered the major premieres and subscriber-access details.

Access and regional availability
The schedule is for the United States. Disney’s release communications caution that library-title availability varies by region and can change, so international lineups may differ. The distinction between the two June films is also important: June 4 marked Raya and the Last Dragon’s move into access for all subscribers after Premier Access; Luca debuted on June 18 without an additional Premier Access fee. These describe the announced conditions in 2021, not current access or catalog status. See Disney’s July 2021 release communication for its regional-availability qualification.
