The season gives Phineas and Ferb another 104 days of summer to fill with ambitious projects. That is the show’s premise, not a claim that the season depicts 104 real-world days or contains 104 episodes. Disney’s pre-premiere announcement highlighted the brothers breaking several world records, Candace taking her driver’s license test and Perry finally making a trip to the vet. Disney Branded Television’s April 2025 announcement described those storylines ahead of the season’s release.

The central setup remains intact: Candace tries to expose her brothers’ elaborate projects, while Perry operates undercover as Agent P and faces Dr. Doofenshmirtz. The season is built around the series’ established mix of family comedy, inventions and spy-story plots rather than a change in its basic premise.
When did Season 5 come out?
The first two episodes premiered on Disney Channel and Disney XD on June 5, 2025. Disney announced that the first 10 episodes would begin streaming on Disney+ in the United States and select international markets on June 6, with additional markets to follow. How many episodes are in Season 5?
Disney+’s live catalog page currently lists Season 5 through S5:E20 and labels the series “All Episodes Now Streaming.” That is the current listing, accessed October 8, 2026; Disney’s 2023 order was for 40 episodes across two seasons, not 40 episodes in Season 5 alone. Check Disney+’s title page for the listing in your territory, since catalog presentation and availability can vary by location.
Are the creators and familiar characters back?
Co-creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh returned as co-creators and executive producers. The returning voice lineup includes Vincent Martella as Phineas, David Errigo Jr. as Ferb, Ashley Tisdale as Candace, Dee Bradley Baker as Perry, Alyson Stoner as Isabella and Caroline Rhea as Linda. Marsh and Povenmire also reprise their established voice roles. D23’s cast announcement identifies the returning performers.

In a May 2025 interview with the Associated Press, Povenmire said of making new episodes, “But it hasn’t been like that at all. It’s been great, fresh, new stories with these characters that we’re just thrilled with.” Marsh described the series as “something that the whole family can enjoy together,” adding, “We just believed kids are smarter than you think.” The Associated Press report also recounts Povenmire’s description of the series as a “comfort watch.”

Disney+ is the streaming service Disney named for the season, and its current page lists episodes through S5:E20. The original June 2025 streaming launch covered the United States and select international markets, with more markets planned afterward. Because the service’s catalog can differ by territory, check the local Disney+ listing for current access and episode availability.

What the season’s return means for the franchise
Disney announced the season alongside comics, collectibles, apparel and music connected to Phineas and Ferb. These are franchise extensions, not additional episodes. Disney also linked to Phineas and Ferb: Classic Comics Collection, Volume 3; the book is a separate comics collection, not a Season 5 episode guide. The announcement details those related releases.
Disney’s June 2025 article said the franchise had accumulated approximately 650 million hours streamed globally on Disney+ to that point, citing Disney data. That is a historical platform-wide figure, not a Season 5 viewing total. In a separate 2026 announcement, Disney Branded Television reported 12.8 billion hours watched across linear and streaming since the franchise launched—a broad franchise figure that likewise does not measure Season 5 alone.
