In an Overdrive Radio listing published in October 2025, Kelly was reported to have bought a 2019 Peterbilt 389 and leased on with a company to work the Dalton Highway. That model year and work arrangement are reported details, not confirmation of her current truck or employer.
Did Lisa Kelly return to *Ice Road Truckers*?
Yes. Heavy Duty Trucking reported in December 2025 that Kelly returned for season 12 after an eight-year hiatus. The publication’s interviews also discuss the demands of owner-operator work, including repairs and chaining in severe weather. The reports establish her return for that season; they do not establish that the show is currently airing or that another season has been ordered.

Sky HISTORY reported that Kelly and fellow *Ice Road Truckers* driver Darrell Ward co-founded a trucking company. Ward died in a plane crash in August 2016.
