Since the show ended, the clearest reported update is that the shop closed and Rick and Kelly Dale shifted to smaller creative projects. Tyler Dale has also discussed a long-running 1965 Ford F100 build. For several other original shop personalities, reliable current details are not established by the available sources.
What the original show followed
HISTORY described Rick Dale as running a Las Vegas family restoration business that found, restored, and upcycled items ranging from Cadillacs to Coca-Cola machines. The series paired the transformations with the history behind the objects. HISTORY’s series page frames the program around that shop-centered premise.

The show’s later format was broader than the original Rick’s Restorations setup. HISTORY’s season 7 listings feature work at multiple restoration shops. One episode summary says Brettly Otterman decides to restore a beat-up 1965 Chevrolet truck. That is evidence of what viewers saw on the show, not proof of Brettly’s current job or business.

Where Rick and Kelly Dale are now
In a report published November 3, 2025, Las Vegas Advisor reported that Rick’s Restorations had closed after the show ended and that Rick and Kelly had moved toward smaller creative work. The update is attributed to that publication; it is not a direct statement from the Dales in the material cited here.

The same report notes that Rick’s book Classic Soda Machines was published in 2014. It is a book about soda machines, rather than a comprehensive account of the show’s cast.
What Tyler Dale is doing
A profile published April 29, 2026, by Restomod Films describes a conversation with Tyler Dale in Las Vegas about his beginnings, the television show, and his current build. It says his 1965 Ford F100 project started when he was in high school and continued over the years. The profile provides a dated glimpse of a project, not a full account of his present work or business.

What is known about Brettly Otterman
HISTORY’s season 7 episode listing credits Brettly with deciding to restore a 1965 Chevrolet truck. That supports describing his on-screen involvement in the later, multi-shop format. The available sources do not verify what he does today.
What about the other original shop personalities?
Current, authoritative updates are not established here for Ron Dale, Kowboy, Kyle Astorga, or Ted Hague. Without reliable sourcing, it would be misleading to claim where they live, whether they have retired, or what jobs or businesses they have now. Their absence from a verified update is not evidence that they left restoration work or the public eye.
