Its current-project page lists four builds, while its news page features recent design updates and a planned truck collaboration with Fox Factory Vehicles. Overhaulin’, however, is no longer being filmed, and the company does not accept applications for the show.
What is Chip Foose up to now?
Foose remains active in automotive design and custom vehicle work through Foose Design. The company’s current-project page names these four vehicles:

What is Foose Design working on beyond those builds?
Foose Design’s news page carries 2026 videos and updates about vehicle and design work. In a September 23, 2026 post, the company said its first project with Fox Factory Vehicles was planned to debut at SEMA 2026.

MotorTrend also reported that Foose would work with Fox’s engineers on a truck for a planned SEMA 2026 reveal. Those announcements establish a collaboration and an intended reveal; they do not confirm whether the vehicle appeared after the planned event or whether it will be offered for sale.
What is Foose Performance?
On November 7, 2024, MagnaFlow Group and Chip Foose announced the formation of Foose Performance, describing it as a venture in automotive design and performance. The announcement establishes that the venture was formed, but it does not establish that any particular product is currently available.

Can you still apply to be on Overhaulin’?
No. Foose Design’s build application page states that Overhaulin’ is no longer being filmed and that the company does not accept applications for the show. The series began on TLC in 2004, was relaunched by Velocity in October 2012, and the relaunch’s last episode aired in November 2015, according to Foose Design’s biography.
The show and Foose Design’s separate custom-build work are different paths: an application to the company is not an application to appear on television.
Can you hire Foose Design for a custom project?
Foose Design accepts applications for selected paid work, including:
- Ground-up design and fabrication
- Complete custom builds and complete resto-mod builds
- Engine and chassis upgrades
- Interior design, fabrication, and installation
The company reviews applications, but submitting one does not guarantee a place on its waiting list. Its application page says projects use deposits and monthly billing and that the company does not offer in-house financing.

What should fans take away?
Foose’s current public work centers on vehicle design and builds at Foose Design, alongside business and collaboration announcements. The TV series is not filming, but the company does accept applications for selected paid projects. Foose Design’s official biography attributes this perspective to him: “I like cars. I couldn’t tell you why. It’s an extension of one’s personality. It’s personal freedom.”
