Stranger Things Season 5 has finished releasing: Netflix said the finale and every other episode were streaming by January 1, 2026. For viewers catching up, the season arrived in three installments, and Netflix’s post-finale guide points to explainers, interviews, music coverage, and related viewing. The series’ announced extensions also include an animated spin-off, a stage production, an immersive experience, and licensed merchandise.
When did the Stranger Things finale come out?
Netflix scheduled the U.S. releases for 5 p.m. Pacific Time: four episodes on November 26, 2025, three on December 25, and the finale on December 31. Because that release time fell on the following calendar date in some regions, Netflix’s regional calendar lists Volume 1 on November 27, Volume 2 on December 26, and the finale on January 1, 2026. The differing dates reflect local time, not a separate release schedule. See Netflix’s Season 5 schedule and synopsis.

| Volume 2: three episodes | December 25, 2025 | December 26, 2025 |
