Short answer: “Tubidy” is not one clearly established service. The name appears on websites with different stated functions and on a separately listed Android app, so safety, privacy, downloads, and legality depend on the exact domain or app. Available policies and listings do not establish that any particular current Tubidy download is safe or authorized.
This review distinguishes those products and explains what their published information does—and does not—show. Details can change; the app listing and cited materials are dated, and no security or download test is claimed here.
What does “Tubidy” refer to?
Do not assume that websites and apps using the Tubidy name share an operator, features, or policies. The available materials describe at least three distinct things:
- Tubidy.fm: Its terms of use describe a product for discovering, listening to, and following radio stations and podcasts. The terms say it serves users in more than 200 countries; that is the site’s own description, not a verified account of every Tubidy-branded service.
- Tubidy.cc: Its privacy policy discusses searching for, converting, and downloading files. That description applies to the policy for tubidy.cc, not automatically to other sites or apps.
- Google Play app: A listing titled “Tubidy Mp3 Music Downloader” names FRONTIER TOURS Limited as developer. It is a separate listing and does not establish a relationship with tubidy.cc or tubidy.fm.
That distinction matters: a familiar logo or name is not enough to identify the service operator or tell you which rules and data practices apply. Check the complete domain or the app’s developer name before relying on a policy or feature claim.

Can you download music or videos from Tubidy?
The tubidy.cc privacy policy refers to file conversion and downloads, and the Google Play listing describes offline listening and audio-file organization. Those statements show what particular pages say; they do not independently verify that a download will work, that every file is available, or that a file is authorized for downloading. Features may differ across domains and change over time.
There is also a practical difference between an ordinary downloaded file and offline playback inside a licensed app. YouTube’s official offline feature, for example, keeps downloaded videos encrypted and playable only in the YouTube app. YouTube says offline viewing is available through Premium and, in some regions, under other regional availability rules. Its ordinary creator-download tool is for eligible videos you uploaded yourself, not other users’ videos. YouTube’s guidance states: “You can’t download other user’s YouTube videos.” See YouTube’s download guidance and its offline FAQs for current conditions.

Is Tubidy safe?
There is not enough evidence here to declare Tubidy safe or malware. No specific current website or APK was independently tested or scanned, and a store listing or privacy policy is not a security audit. Treat the specific domain or app as unverified unless you have reliable, current evidence about that exact product.
What the tubidy.cc policy says
The tubidy.cc privacy policy says the site may record information including IP address and country, device and browser details, web requests, referring URL, operating system, request date and time, search terms, and content accessed or downloaded. It also describes cookies, advertising-related uses—including targeted advertising based on country and other information—and possible disclosure of aggregated user information to advertisers or third parties. These are disclosures in the site’s policy, not independent measurements proving what is collected in practice. They should not be attributed to Tubidy.fm or the app without evidence.

What the Google Play listing says
The listing for “Tubidy Mp3 Music Downloader” names FRONTIER TOURS Limited, marks the app as containing ads, and displays an update date of 6 September 2026. Its data-safety section shows developer-provided statements of no data collection and no third-party sharing. Google notes that these disclosures come from the developer and may be updated. The statements are not an independent audit and apply to that listed app, not to Tubidy-branded websites. Review the Google Play listing itself for the latest details; do not assume it establishes who operates another Tubidy domain.
Practical checks before using a site or app
- Check the full web address or exact app developer, not just the Tubidy name or logo.
- Read the privacy policy for that exact site or app and compare it with the information requested by the service.
- Do not treat an advertisement, prominent download button, or search result as proof that a file is official or safe.
- Do not install an APK from an unverified source on the assumption that a similarly named store app makes it legitimate.
Are Tubidy downloads legal?
Whether a particular download is lawful depends on the rights to the work, authorization, applicable exceptions, and the law where you are. A file being free to access, intended for personal use, or accompanied by artist credit does not by itself establish permission. A site offering a file also does not prove that the uploader or downloader is authorized to distribute or obtain it.

A 2025 submission by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) to the USTR’s 2024 Special 301 process describes tubidy.cool as an advertising-funded MP3/MP4 music and video download platform, says it regularly changes domains, and places Tubidy among stream-ripping sites. The RIAA reports “over 208 million visits globally in the past 12 months” and a Similarweb global ranking of 6,886. This is a figure reported in a rights-holder industry submission concerning a preceding 12-month period—not a verified current traffic count or a court finding.

The RIAA’s characterization and allegations should be understood as the organization’s claims about the site it discusses. They do not establish that every Tubidy-branded domain or app has the same operator, conduct, or legal status. The submission is available as a 2025 PDF in USTR docket USTR-2024-0013.
What are the alternatives for offline listening or viewing?
If you want a documented route to offline access, use a service’s own licensed feature and check its regional terms. YouTube’s documented option is offline viewing through Premium in eligible locations; its creator-download tool covers eligible videos you uploaded yourself. These files remain in the app rather than becoming ordinary MP3 files. Availability and conditions vary, so check YouTube’s download guidance and offline FAQs for current information.
When evaluating any alternative, look for a clearly named operator, a privacy policy for that specific service, an explicit explanation of offline access and its limits, and regional availability. Offline access under a membership or license is not the same thing as permission to keep or redistribute a standalone music file.
Is Tubidy worth using?
That depends on what you mean by Tubidy and what you need. The available information supports a cautious conclusion, not a blanket recommendation: Tubidy.fm describes radio and podcast discovery, tubidy.cc describes file search and downloads, and a Google Play app is listed under a separate named developer. The evidence does not establish a shared operator, verify a current download’s safety, or settle the rights to a particular file. If you need dependable offline access, a clearly identified licensed service with an official offline feature is easier to assess.
