Tubidy is not one standardized download service: several Tubidy-branded websites have different interfaces, sources, and limits. The current pages describe browser-based search and conversion for audio and video, but a free download is not automatically authorized or safe. Check the exact domain, use only results you have the right to save, and do not install apps or software prompted by a download page.
What Tubidy is—and why the exact website matters
“Tubidy” refers to multiple sites rather than one consistently identifiable product. As of August 7, 2026, examples include tubidy.com, mp3.tubidy.com, mobi.tubidy.com, tubidy.sc, tubidy.ke, and tubidy.fm. Their menus, terms, supported sources, and stated restrictions can differ. The registration record for tubidy.com does not establish common ownership of every related domain; its WHOIS details are privacy-protected (WHOIS record).
The current new.tubidy.com address redirects to mp3.tubidy.com. It should not be treated as a separate current product. The sites describe themselves as search or conversion tools that retrieve or index material from other sources, not as owners of all the music and videos they surface (About Tubidy).
For example, the current mobi site presents categories such as Top Videos, Top Searches, Recently Viewed, and Moods & Genres, as well as account, playlist, statistics, and upload links. That particular menu is not a guarantee about what another Tubidy-branded site displays.

How to search and download in a browser
The current mobi FAQ describes this general sequence. Specific controls and results vary by domain, so do not assume every site uses the same button name.
- Open the Tubidy domain you intend to use in a browser.
- Enter a song title or artist name in the search field.
- Choose a result and check that it is the correct recording or video and a source you are allowed to save.
- Select an available format. The mobi FAQ mainly lists MP3 for audio and MP4 for video; that site also mentions WebM and legacy 3GP options.
- Use the download control shown for that result and wait for the browser to save the file. The pages do not establish one universal label for this control.
On tubidy.sc, the workflow differs: initial results come from YT, and choosing “Load more” repeats the search and adds SC results. Its FAQ says YT results can be converted to MP3 or MP4, while SC results can be downloaded directly as MP3. These are instructions for tubidy.sc, not for every Tubidy site.
Formats, quality, and download limits are site-specific
MP3 and MP4 are common options in the mobi site’s description, but the exact choices depend on the domain, source, and result. Its FAQ says audio bitrates can include 320 kbps; that does not mean every track is available at that bitrate. The reviewed pages do not establish universal 1080p video availability. If a device has playback trouble, the mobi FAQ suggests trying “Standard MP4” or MP3, or selecting a lower video resolution when available (mobi FAQ).

Download limits also vary. The mobi FAQ claims no download limits, while tubidy.sc documents a daily limit and says an IP address can be blocked for 24 hours after a user is blacklisted. Neither statement should be generalized to other Tubidy-branded domains.
Where downloaded files go
The browser and device settings control the download destination; a Tubidy page does not override them. On desktop, files normally go to the browser’s configured download folder. On Android, check Downloads. On iPhone or iPad, look in the Files app. A file can be present in Downloads without appearing immediately in a music or video library, because the media app may not yet have indexed it.
Fix common download and playback problems
The download does not start or fails
The mobi troubleshooting page points to connection issues, temporary source-file problems, browser conflicts, or session errors. Try these steps in order:

- Retry on Wi-Fi.
- Clear the browser cache and cookies.
- Search for the track again.
- Try a different result for the same title; search results can lead to different underlying sources.
- Try another browser.
Conversion hangs or a result cannot be downloaded on tubidy.sc
The tubidy.sc FAQ says to clear the browser cache, refresh, and try another browser if conversion remains stuck. It also lists reasons a result may be unavailable on that site:

- An age-restricted or private video cannot be viewed without logging in.
- The video is longer than 90 minutes.
- The site’s daily download limit has been reached.
Those are documented tubidy.sc restrictions, not universal Tubidy rules. Its FAQ says the IP block after blacklisting is lifted after 24 hours.
The file downloads but will not play
A familiar file extension does not prove that a transfer completed or that the format is compatible. The mobi FAQ lists unsupported codecs, incompatible formats, and incomplete downloads as possible causes. Try “Standard MP4” or MP3 if offered, choose a lower video resolution, or download the file again. If the video has sound but no picture, the FAQ recommends “Standard MP4.”

Playback buffers or the browser crashes
The mobi FAQ associates high-definition buffering with a connection that may be too slow and suggests standard quality. It lists low device memory, too many open tabs, and cache problems as possible reasons for playback stopping or a browser crash; close tabs, clear the cache, and restart the browser.

There is no basis in the reviewed pages to call every Tubidy-branded site or result “virus-free.” The current sites warn about imitation domains, suspicious redirects, fake download buttons, pop-ups, tracking, and phishing. Google says Chrome unsafe-site warnings can indicate phishing, malware, unwanted software, intrusive ads, or social-engineering attacks (Chrome unsafe-site warnings). Do not bypass a warning just to obtain a file.

- Do not install an APK just because a page labels it official.
- Do not install extensions, enable unexpected permissions, allow unneeded notifications, or enter payment details for a supposedly free download.
- Never run commands or paste code supplied by a webpage.
- Close pages that trigger repeated redirects or fake virus alerts, and keep the browser and device security software updated.
Does Tubidy have an official phone app or command-line tool?
The current browser pages say no special app is required and describe access through browsers such as Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. The reviewed pages do not identify an official Google Play or Apple App Store listing. Treat third-party APKs advertised as Tubidy apps as unaffiliated unless the operator provides verifiable official distribution information. Adding a website to a phone’s Home Screen creates a shortcut or web-app-style entry, not a native app (current site).
The current pages also do not publish an official command-line interface, API command, or shell syntax. Do not treat a Tubidy-specific terminal command found elsewhere as officially supported without verifiable information from the relevant site operator.
Copyright: free access is not permission to copy
Tubidy’s terms describe it as a search and conversion tool for publicly available audio and video, and say users are responsible for unauthorized use of third-party content. The terms prohibit downloading content that infringes copyright (Tubidy terms).
In the United States, copyright owners generally have the exclusive right to reproduce their works (17 U.S.C. § 106). Saving a copyrighted song or video can implicate that right unless permission or a legal exception applies. “Personal use” is not a blanket U.S. exemption for downloading any copyrighted media. Legality depends on the work, authorization, applicable exception, source terms, and jurisdiction.
A site’s role as a search engine does not itself authorize a user to copy or redistribute a work. If a result comes from YouTube, its terms restrict downloading or reproducing content except where the service permits it, the rights holder gives permission, or applicable law allows it (YouTube Terms of Service). When in doubt, use a licensed download or a source that clearly grants permission.
