After Cody Rhodes beat Roman Reigns in the WrestleMania 40 Night Two main event and won the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, he said he was handed a watch backstage. The gift was a watch, not a belt or another award. Rhodes said it was the same watch his father, Dusty Rhodes, had pawned so Cody could attend acting school. Triple H was one of three people Rhodes named as presenters, along with Bruce Prichard and Nick Khan.
What Cody Rhodes received
The object was a wristwatch. Rhodes showed it off at the post-WrestleMania press conference, and USA Insider quoted his description of it in an April 8, 2024 article by Chris Phelan. No other award, title item, or memento from that night was reported as part of the gift.
Who handed it over
Rhodes said he came back to the locker area after his win and that Bruce Prichard, Triple H, and Nick Khan handed him the watch together. That is the form of the account the reporting supports, so this article does not single out Triple H as the sole giver.
Wrestling Observer, reporting on April 7, 2024 by Joseph Currier, added details it attributed to Triple H: the idea came from Khan, and Prichard tracked down the right watch. Those process details come from that report, not from Rhodes, and they have not been independently confirmed beyond that reporting.

The pawned-watch account
Rhodes said the watch was the one his father had pawned so Cody could go to acting school. Dusty Rhodes’s pawning of the watch is Cody’s account and is not independently documented in the reporting reviewed for this article. Nothing in the coverage establishes when the pawn happened, where, or how the watch was later recovered.
The reporting also does not establish the watch’s make, model, or identifying features. Coverage does not name a brand, so any article that calls it a particular luxury model is going beyond the evidence.

In their words
In the press-conference remarks quoted by USA Insider, Rhodes said: “I came to the back and Bruce Prichard, Triple H, and Nick Khan handed me this,” Cody said as he showed off a watch. “It’s the same watch my dad had that he pawned so he could go to acting school. The level of investment and responsibility the company just put in my hands, I hope I can pay it back, pay it forward, one-hundred times over.”
Triple H’s explanation, as quoted by Wrestling Observer, was: “We just wanted to give him, I don’t know, something that in some way commemorated his dad being here when this happened, because he was.” That wording is as reported by Wrestling Observer and is not drawn from a transcript reviewed directly for this article.

Why no product or equivalent is suggested
Because the watch’s model is not established, this article does not point readers to a similar watch or a replica. The gift is a personal family item, and the only documented version of it is Rhodes’s own description of the story.
WrestleTalk, by Amanda Savage on April 8, 2024, summarized the same backstage presentation and is consistent with the core account, but it adds no independent detail about the watch itself.
