That line is Cruise’s, delivered in the introduction. The surrounding wording and the exact sequence of the speech are not established beyond UPI’s paraphrase, so treat any longer transcript you encounter with caution.
How it differs from the Mission: Impossible teaser
Cruise also appeared in a separate promotional spot for Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning during the same broadcast. UPI reports the two as distinct segments, so they should not be treated as one piece.
