AMC Networks reported that the Season 1 premiere was AMC+’s number-one season premiere by unique viewers during its first 60 days. The company attributed the ranking to its internal reporting but did not publish the underlying audience count in the cited release. AMC also said viewership grew nearly every week during Season 1, attributing that claim to its Multi-Platform L+7 reporting, and said Walking Dead Universe series ranked among AMC+’s top ten seasons by average streams per episode over their first 60 days. These are company-reported figures, not independently detailed audience totals.
