As of ABC’s September 4, 2026 announcement, The View’s six returning Season 30 co-hosts are Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Ana Navarro. ABC’s available official records confirm some past roles and timelines, but do not establish a complete historical roster—so “every co-host” cannot be verified from those records alone.
Who are the current co-hosts of The View?
ABC announced on September 4, 2026, that six co-hosts were returning for Season 30: Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Ana Navarro. ABC’s official show page lists the same panel. This is a dated lineup; hosts and guest assignments can change.
The View airs on ABC weekdays. ABC identified Hulu and Disney+ as next-day streaming destinations for the Season 30 premiere; availability can vary by date and location.
What is known about the show’s origins?
Barbara Walters created The View in 1997 as a forum for women to discuss everyday issues, share opinions, and address important topics. ABC has also described Walters as the show’s executive producer and co-host.

What documented co-host timelines are available?
ABC’s published biographies and announcements establish several role changes and tenures. These examples are useful chronology, not a complete list of everyone who has appeared on the panel.
| Person | Documented role and timeline | Season 30 status |
|---|---|---|
| Ana Navarro | Contributor beginning in Season 19 (2015); recurring guest co-host from November 2018 in Season 22; official co-host in Season 26 (2022). | Returning co-host |
| Alyssa Farah Griffin | Named a co-host beginning in Season 26 (2022); ABC noted her prior guest appearances. | Returning co-host |
| Sara Haines | Co-host from 2016 to 2018; returned in 2020 for Season 24. | Returning co-host |
| Sunny Hostin | ABC says she has been a co-host since 2016. | Returning co-host |
ABC’s August 17, 2022 Season 26 announcement named Griffin and Navarro as co-hosts. Executive producer Brian Teta said Griffin “brings a strong conservative perspective” and is willing to share her political experience. Griffin said she was honored to represent the conservative perspective “at a time when our country is so divided, often on partisan lines.” These are their stated perspectives at the time of her appointment, not a substitute for describing the current panel member by member.

How is a co-host different from a guest co-host or contributor?
The labels matter because a person appearing at the table is not necessarily a regular member of the panel. Use “co-host” for a person ABC identifies as part of the regular panel, “guest co-host” for a temporary panel role, and “contributor” where ABC uses that designation.
- Contributor: Navarro’s documented path began with this role in Season 19.
- Guest co-host: ABC’s September 2026 episode guide labels Star Jones a guest co-host.
- Former co-host appearing as a guest: ABC’s Season 30 announcement describes Sherri Shepherd as a former co-host among scheduled guests.
Those distinctions prevent temporary appearances and guest bookings from being mistaken for permanent cast membership.

Does ABC provide a complete list of every past co-host?
No complete historical roll call or verified total is established by the official pages cited here. ABC’s announcements and biographies document selected people, roles, and dates; they do not support a claim that this is every past co-host or an exact count of everyone who has held a co-host or guest co-host role. A genuinely exhaustive list would require a season-by-season authoritative record.
