The Madison is a Paramount+ original drama from creator Taylor Sheridan, built around a family’s move from Manhattan to Montana after a devastating loss. Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell lead the cast as Stacy and Preston Clyburn, whose attempt to begin again in the Madison River Valley brings grief, old tensions and unfamiliar relationships to the surface.
Although the series was once discussed in connection with the Yellowstone brand, Paramount+ now describes it as a standalone story. The Clyburns are not related to the Dutton family, and The Madison is not part of the Yellowstone universe.
What is The Madison about?
The series follows the Clyburn family as they leave their Manhattan life for central Montana. The relocation is not a simple lifestyle change: it follows a devastating family tragedy and places several emotionally fractured people in a setting where they can no longer rely on the routines, status and distance that shaped their old lives.
Paramount+ frames The Madison as a family drama and a love story about grief, resilience and human connection. The trailer highlights the contrast between New York and Montana, along with fly-fishing, ranch-country landscapes and the family’s struggle to withstand what has happened to them.

- Upgraded Material: These light-weight picture frames use upgraded plastic material, Scratch-proof and durable. And a thicker plastic cover with a protective film (prevent scratches) keeps posters better preserved. Before use, please tear off the bothside film.
- EASY to INSTALL: The frame strips can be easily assembled by sliding together, which is especially for large size poster frames to achieve the lightness. The frame back comes with 2 pcs sturdy hangers that can be hung vertically or horizontally from the wall.
- PRECIOUS GIFT: The frame is suitable for any style of photo, such as art prints, children's artwork, Video Game, Movie posters. It is the perfect gift for your family or friends on anniversaries, weddings, birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas.
- SECURE PACKAGE: Each frame is individually plastic sealed with corner guard and finally overall sealed to ensure safe shipping and avoid damaged. Strong collisions may cause the frame corners to separate, just simply slide the strips to get a intact poster frame again.
That marketing also makes the show’s tone clear. This is not being presented primarily as an action western or a law-and-order series. Its focus is the emotional aftermath of tragedy: how a family talks, avoids talking and tries to remain connected when each member is processing loss differently.
