The two accounts support the sequence, but neither gives the check’s completion date or the precise date filming began.

When was the restraining-order filing made?
Deseret News, summarizing People’s account of court documents, reported that Ramirez’s former girlfriend filed for a temporary restraining order on June 11, 2024. The filing reportedly cited “harassment — emotional.” Media accounts place the filing shortly before filming, but do not publish an exact start date for production.

An unnamed source close to the show characterized the timing as “in the brief period between completion of our thorough background investigation and exhaustive vetting process, and the beginning of production,” as quoted by Deseret News. The description is the source’s account, not a published explanation of the check’s methods.
What did the petitioner allege?
According to Deseret News’s report on the filing, the former girlfriend wrote: “Despite telling him to not contact me, come to my house — he made repeated unwanted contact with me, family members! and friends.” The report also said the filing alleged 25 attempts a day by phone, text, or video over a two-week period, attributing that figure to People’s account of the documents.

These are allegations attributed to the petitioner’s filing, not independently established facts in the cited coverage. The reported contact figure should be understood in that same context.
What happened to the case?
Deseret News reported that a hearing was scheduled for July 2, 2024, and later postponed. Us Weekly and Deseret News reported that the case was dismissed on July 24 for lack of prosecution and lack of service; Us Weekly said the temporary order was dropped after the dismissal.
