Suits ended its nine-season run in 2019, but the legal drama found a second life on Netflix. That revival brought renewed attention to its cast—and eventually produced a public reunion, a short-lived spinoff and a handful of new projects.
Here is where the principal cast members are now, including what happened to Harvey, Mike, Rachel, Donna, Louis and the rest of the Pearson Specter Litt team.

Gabriel Macht — Harvey Specter
Gabriel Macht remains closely identified with Harvey Specter, the sharp-tongued corporate lawyer at the center of Suits. He returned to the character in several episodes of Suits: L.A., which premiered on NBC in February 2025.
That comeback was limited. NBC canceled Suits: L.A. after one season on May 9, 2025, so Macht’s appearance did not lead to a permanent continuation of Harvey’s story.

Since the original series ended, Macht has largely reduced his acting work. He has spoken about prioritizing his family and creative-director projects, while leaving open the possibility of playing Harvey again. He has not been formally described as retired, but he has shown little interest in returning to Hollywood full-time.
Patrick J. Adams — Mike Ross
Patrick J. Adams did not disappear from acting after leaving Suits. His most significant recent television role is Russell McIntosh in The Madison, a Taylor Sheridan drama that premiered on Paramount+ in March 2026. The series co-stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, Beau Garrett and Matthew Fox.
Adams has also remained involved in the Suits conversation. He reunited with former castmates at the 2024 ATX TV Festival and co-hosts Sidebar: A Suits Watch Podcast with Sarah Rafferty. The podcast gives the pair a chance to revisit episodes, production memories and the show’s unusually large second life on streaming.
Meghan Markle — Rachel Zane
Meghan Markle’s career took a very different direction after she left Suits. Following her royal duties, her public work shifted toward production, philanthropy and lifestyle media rather than a return to acting.

Markle’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, continued independently after separating from Netflix in 2026. As a result, descriptions of her as simply “working on a Netflix cooking show” are outdated.

Sarah Rafferty — Donna Paulsen
Sarah Rafferty has remained active on television and currently stars as Katherine Walter in Netflix’s My Life with the Walter Boys. The show’s third season arrived on August 6, 2026, and the series has been renewed for a fourth season.
The role gives Rafferty one of the most prominent ongoing television parts among the former Suits ensemble. She has also continued her connection with the old cast through the Sidebar podcast, her work with Patrick J. Adams and public reunion appearances.

Rick Hoffman — Louis Litt
Rick Hoffman has continued working in both film and television. He plays Carl Gunderson in Netflix’s 2026 romantic comedy Office Romance, which stars Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein.
Hoffman also reprised Louis Litt in Suits: L.A., appearing alongside Gabriel Macht. Like Macht’s return, this was a guest appearance in a one-season spinoff—not the beginning of a new ongoing Suits series.
Gina Torres — Jessica Pearson
Gina Torres continued acting after Jessica Pearson left the original series. She led the spinoff Pearson, which ran for one season in 2019, and later appeared in projects including 9-1-1: Lone Star. Voice work and guest roles have also remained part of her career.
Torres participated in public Suits reunions, including the cast gathering connected with the 2024 Golden Globes. However, she did not return as Jessica Pearson in Suits: L.A. The confirmed original-series returns for that spinoff included Macht and Hoffman.

Amanda Schull — Katrina Bennett
Amanda Schull became a series regular during the later seasons of Suits as Katrina Bennett, the ambitious attorney who developed from an uncertain associate into a more confident legal professional.
Since then, Schull has continued with television guest appearances and supporting roles. She also appeared on 9-1-1: Lone Star, where she worked alongside former Suits co-star Gina Torres.
There is no verified announcement of a Katrina Bennett spinoff or a new Suits revival featuring Schull.
Dulé Hill — Alex Williams
Dulé Hill joined Suits in its later seasons as Alex Williams, Harvey’s longtime friend and a formidable lawyer in his own right.
Hill remains associated with television, film and the Psych franchise, while continuing stage and screen work. His broader post-Suits profile also includes the rebooted The Wonder Years. He was among the cast members taking part in the 2024 reunion panel.
Katherine Heigl — Samantha Wheeler
Katherine Heigl played Samantha Wheeler during the final two seasons of Suits. The character brought a combative, highly capable presence to the firm as the series moved toward its conclusion.
Heigl has continued acting and producing. She develops projects through her production company with husband Josh Kelley, with projects including Woodhull listed as being in development.
